  • Wake up to lake views at Stag Cabin, a freestanding one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin at Texas Hunt Lodge in Ingram. A covered patio, full kitchen and in-cabin laundry make it an inviting base for a Texas Hill Country escape.

Beautiful place—better than a hotel! The AC worked great, the water was always warm with excellent water pressure, and the property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

We were in the area for a wedding and loved our stay at THL. Everything was exactly as listed. Great host. The cabin is perfect for two and very clean with all the necessities. We enjoyed the view of the lake. Lift Coffee is a great spot for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommend THL.

This property was accurately described on the vrbo site. It was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Kitchen was well equipped, appliances, dishes, and even snacks - all for our enjoyment! Mr. Meador, our host, was easily reached and helpful with any question. We would recommend this Tranquil Retreat!

We absolutely loved staying here, it was quiet, clean, had everything we needed and was a great area to still be close to town for food or outings. Our host was amazing as well. When we first checked in the AC was leaking on to the bed and the host got there within 15 minutes and got us a new cabin and the issue was resolved with speed and professionalism. We were very impressed and will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

The cabin was new, well-located, clean. The kitchen was well supplied. My wife was very happy with the oven. The bed was comfortable. The locks the only problem. The electronic ones would say locked or unlocked but never actually locked. Only one of the two doors had deadbolt that could be locked and unlocked from the outside. Overall though it was an excellent stay!

Nice rental

We enjoyed our stay! It was a nice place. It was clean, quiet, and peaceful. The lake was refreshing and just a short walk to get there. I would recommend staying here.

Softball Tourney Stay

Came for a 1 night stay for a softball tourney in Kerville. Great place to stay in the hill country along the waterfront across the street. Very clean and a nice set up on the property. Highly recommended

The host was super attentive and answered all of my questions. The entire cabin was clean and tidy. The kitchen was great and allowed me to cook full meals. The view of the lake was a lovely especially while sitting in rocking chairs. I would definitely stay here again.

Quaint little getaway

The Texas Hunt Lodge was amazing, the place was clean and cozy , beautiful view of the lake and right across from Ingram Damm , our kids enjoyed fishing and floating off the dock. Everyone was super helpful and kind , I have to Mention Lisa that is in the kitchen and does all the cleaning, she is so kind and super helpful, we sure appreciated her . Great place to stay.

Weekend away

The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. Instructions were clear and Check in was easy. The area has amazing scenery. Would definitely book again.

5 star stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the little cabin across from the lake. We went for a relaxing weekend, and achieved just that. It’s was so nice to be able to walk across the road to the private dock and enjoy the water. I highly recommend the cabin and look forward to returning.

Great Place

Brand new cabin, clean, very pleasant accommodations, with everything we needed for a relaxing, peaceful stay. The staff at the lodge were friendly and very helpful. I especially enjoyed being right across the street from the water. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the rockers on the front porch.

My adult special needs son and I stayed and had everything we needed! Waterfront was just across the street and the town was close enough for shopping and food! Loved it! 💕

Perfect spot

This place was so perfect for my little momcation. Perfect size, everthing I needed. Most comfortable bed. The living are was so homie. The fact the river is accessible just across the street is awesome. Lots of things to do close by or a beautiful afternoon drive away. Will be staying agin. Thank y'all!

Center of what I needed

The Hunting lodge is beautiful. The modular home was brand new and still in the beginning stages. Ross replied back to most emails asap. Sitting on the dock was peaceful. This place was in a central location to most shopping and events. I was impressed by the horns, birds, and rain on the porch.Thank you for the stay.
