Beautiful villa in a lovely location. Had everything we needed, and more. Amazing views from the terrace and a clean, large swimming pool. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, private property. A car is required for travel.

This is a great property, the photo's almost don't do it justice, the inside is large, clean and comfortable, the outside is stunning, especially the salt water pool, which is huge and great for smaller children with such a sizeable shallow end, but over 6' deep at the other.All the bedrooms have great air con - as does the main living area (although one unit wasn't working during our visit - but that didn't make a difference).Being able to walk (via a private path) to a little bay is also very special, meaning kids can enjoy an hour snorkle without having to drive anywhere.Michalis, the caretaker, turns up every other day to make sure the pool and outside areas are clean, he also takes away the rubbish and offers to change bedding - he was excellent.Helpful hints for future guests; - you will definately need a car, and the track the property is quite rough. - Bear in mind this part of Kefalonia has many wasps, although they were not agressive - more annoying. This is the same if you eat out in Sami. Bring some wasp/sting stuff just in case.- The local shops in Sami are great, no need to stock up at Lidl like we did! - Eating out in Sami is very reasonable, and we ended up eating out more than cooking by the end of our holiday. - The beds are a little firm (which some may prefer),- The beds are doubles, not singles pushed together, which could reduce flexibility.- make sure to bring some crocs or water shoes, as many beaches are stoney

Great location and facilities

We had a great time and Michalis, who manages the property, was superb. Only issues were a wasp nest on the property (which Michalis tried to control) and some missing fixtures in the bathrooms (everything still worked though). The property is surrounded by nature, so there was a fair bit of mosquitos at night. Beautiful location and stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely stunning property!!

We had the most incredible week at this beautiful home. It is in the most perfect location, with access to a private pebbly beach, ideal for snorkelling and picnicking. And just around the corner from another gorgeous bay, with a few buzzing beach bars, and great food. Not to mention Sami, a very pretty seaside resort, which we all enjoyed for its simplicity and atmosphere. The Villa is incredibly well equipped, bedrooms were simple but very clean and spacious, and we had everything we needed for a family ranging in ages 1, 7, 10, 12, 13 - 45!!! The outside space is an utter highlight, we simply did not want to leave the villa!! And therefore explored the island very little!!! There are outdoor seating choices galore, and the most incredible views from many areas of the house and garden. The outdoor kitchen was fantastic, and we made good use of the bbq and epic pizza oven!! The pool is a wonderful size, we all had daily competitions swimming lengths and lengths!! And plenty of shady options when it got hot. The new pool shower room was also beautifully done. Our greatest thanks go to Michaelis who was so very helpful and kind to us during our stay, he looked after us so well, we are so grateful to him. We would like to thank the owner for allowing to stay in their beautiful home, and very much hope one day we may return!!! We will thoroughly miss those views!! Thank you!!

Beautiful views

I lovely spacious villa with unbelievable views of the sea from inside and out. A fantastic super sized pool with great out door space. The family had a super time and access to beach from the house was just perfect. Our host Mike was great and was super helpful.

A Gem of a Property

We had a wonderful time and feel very fortunate to have stayed here. It started off a bit disappointing to be told that the toilets may not flush properly and one A/C unit wasn’t working, but during our trip we fell in love with the villa. It’s an amazing architectural construction. Totally unique and beautiful. Plus we didn’t have any trouble with the toilets at all. The swimming pool is huge and has a decent enough shallow area for our 4 year old to enjoy whilst it being deep enough at the other end to dive into. The outdoor pool room with shower, toilet and fridge/sink area is new and excellent. There are three double bedrooms on the first floor all with shower en-suites. The showers in two of the them weren’t the most powerful, but we just shared the best ones. The ground floor features a double bedroom with shower en-suite. And the final bedroom is in the basement, with en-suite shower room. We didn’t use this room but did use the shower, which was excellent. All bedrooms had air conditioning. The view from upstairs balcony is amazing. As is the ground floor terrace. The kitchen is better than the photos look. The outside garden is beautiful. It is located very close to Sami where we dined most evenings. The dirt track to the villa is long and dusty, but we liked that secluded nature of it. The private walk to the small cove / beach is a lovely feature. We spent a lot of the holiday exploring the island. I would have loved a second week just enjoying the villa.

Fabulous outside, work needed inside

When we arrived at the property we were delighted with the outside facilities. A great sized pool, pool house with useful shower, wc and fridge and an impressive bbq area. The inside was not as exciting. Lots of repairs were needed: leaking tap, broken shower door, windows that wouldn’t open. At the beginning of the season you don’t expect this. Also some things listed in the property description were not there: dishwasher, microwave and pool table. The basement room was not a lounge/play area it was a storage area for old furniture and also had an empty spa pool which was quite dangerous for young children. None of these issues spoiled our holiday but it’s annoying when the description is not accurate. We were very well looked after by Michalis who welcomed us and checked on us daily. The property is well positioned and we enjoyed evenings on the terrace watching the sunset. The family all enjoyed the pool and the gardens.

Beautiful views

Beautiful view of sea from front veranda and of lovely green woodland and mountains around the rest of the villa. It’s in a very peaceful area to relax. There is a large pool, excellent poolside building housing shower/toilet and fridge which was really useful. The outside area is extensive with a terrific bbq/ kitchen/ pizza oven etc and various seating areas. A nice little walk through trees down to the beach. The villa itself has a good open plan seating dining and kitchen area. And each bedroom has an adequate en-suite. There were a few small repairs needed but it was the end of a busy season. The beds we all agreed were too hard and the older members of the family suffered from back and hip ache but this could be easily remedied by putting toppers on the mattresses. The owner Ioannis was very helpful and accommodating and Mike who took care of the property each day was a lovely man. Some taxi drivers would not come down the lane to the property but it really is not that bad at all , our rental cars coped fine and we found some taxi drivers happy to go right up to the villa so we have left their contact cards there. We were there for a family wedding and there was plenty of space for the ten of us to get ready including the bride and groom.

Perfect Villa

The villa was very large with plenty of space for everyone. lots of seating arrangements around the property. A beautiful pool and lovely pool house with shower and toilet. Great bbq area. Mike was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for him - he really helped to make the holiday perfect. It would have been helpful to have a dishwasher and a microwave, but all in all it was superb and we all enjoyed it very much.

You could not ask for more

We were looking for a villa for 3 generations to spend some quality time together and we could not have found a more perfect place. The villa is extensive, well equipped, the ground are secure and there is a beach 5 minutes walk away, the local town of Sami has all of the shops and restaurants you could need and excursions to other parts of the island are very easy. Communication with the owners was exceptionally easy, the caretaker could not have been more helpful and was on hand to provide assistance when required. All of our families had an amazing time and we would recommend this villa to everyone, we would love to go back again.

Breathtaking views.

The location is stunning, breathtaking view from the master bedroom which I never tired of each morning. The villa is very spacious and served us very well with plenty of privacy and en-suites for everyone. Michalis is a wonderful, kind sweet man always willing to help. Plenty of sun spots, sun beds, and a lovely pool with its own outdoor shower room. The little beach nearby you can walk to is not really for sunbathing, but nice for a stroll to watch the sun set. Be aware that you do need a car to go everywhere and need to be a good, confident driver for the mountainous roads which you need to go anywhere on the island. the drive to the villa itself is very rough terrain so book a sturdy strong car. A very small point, but some of us did find the mattresses to hard to sleep well. Our favourite beach was just around 5 minutes drive, Antisamos, gorgeous, free sun beds and parasols, and lovely staff at the Beach Cafe. As we went in October, although still not in the day, the locals class it as out of season, so some restaurants and shops had already closed down, although this did not spoil our holiday. This villa is really quite unique in a stunning location which does not fail to impress.

Oustanding views

We spent a very nice week in this house. The oustanding views, amazing beach (almost private), huge pool and the kindly support of Michalis for daily questions. I highly recommend the location, ideally based for people who are seeking quiet and seculated house.

A wonderful Villa with stunning views

The villa is beautifully situated in a very secluded position yet only a 5 minute drive to Sami where tavernas and shops are plentiful. We had 2 families totalling 9 and there was plenty of space. The pool was enormous with ample sun loungers. The outside pool room with shower, toilet and fridge was extremely useful. The views across to Agia Effima and to Ithaca are absolutely beautiful and sat on the upstairs terrace with a morning coffee are a real treat. The path leads down to the sea, the children enjoyed the snorkelling and fishing and apart from a few visiting boats was very quiet. A big thank you to Mihalis who met us in Sami at 1am due to a delayed flight, bought us some food and drinks and helped us settle into the villa. He cleaned the pool and bbq area every morning and was a very amiable chap and couldn’t do enough for us! Overall a fantastic villa, thoroughly enjoyed by all of us, thank you Ioannis, we would love to return!

Traumobjekt in bester Lage

Wir verbrachten mit 9 Personen eine erhosame Woche in einem Traumhaus und wurden vom Michal jeden Tag sehr aufmerksam und aufs Beste betreut. Es war immer reichlich Platz fuer Rueckzug und Gemeinsamkeit, die anspruchsvollen Aussenanlagen sind sehr gut gewartet. Der natuerliche Strand ist schnell erreicht und lockt mit klarstem Wasser und viel Privatheit. Wir empfehlen die Sanitaerspuelungen im Haus zu ersetzen, dann passt wirklich alles!

Villa in Traumlage

Dieses wunderbare Anwesen befindet sich an dem schönsten abgelegen Ort der Insel. Der Blick bleibt bis zur letzten Minute atemberaubend, und der private Zugang zum Meer ist so viel wert. Einzig das Interieur entsprach nicht so unserem Geschmack - aber viel Zeit haben wir nicht im Haus verbracht. Die Außenanlage bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Dinner und gemütliches Beisammensein. Wir haben unsere Zeit alle sehr genossen.

Beautiful place

The location of the house was beautiful, views from every room, the pool was big with lots of space to lounge. The house was spotless, great layout for our family, with the main floor bedroom a huge plus for someone who cant easily navigate stairs. The master bed I'm afraid was not very comfortable, a little to hard for me. But a minor issue with an otherwise amazing stay!

Peace and quiet but close to everything

What a perfect holiday experience! Our family of eleven had lots of room to spread out. The pool is wonderful. The large veranda overlooking the ocean is a perfect spot for morning coffee and meals. The house appears isolated in photos but it is only a five minute drive to shopping and restaurants. The view is absolutely gorgeous! Can’t wait to visit again!

Fabulous and very peaceful

Secluded spacious modern villa. Perfect for 3 generations of family. Beautiful large salt-water pool. Car definitely needed. Lots of seating outside for dining at different times of the day. We will return.
