"It’s a pretty property in a residential area. It’s very quiet other than the coqui frogs, which aren’t intrusive or loud and adds to the charm. Theres a lot of little touching details and hosts were kind and accommodating. True to their listing, they’re available as much or as little as one needs. The listing is accurate with regard to local wildlife, but if you’re familiar with Hawai’i, just keep food cleaned up as explained in the rules. "Thanks to Erich and Suzy for making our short stay as cozy as possible and helping us figure out plans. Between plane delays and terribly rainy weather, our volcano visit was mostly a washout. But the rooms were very cute, the nice big bathroom was helpful to have with all 4 of us, and the breakfast was delish. Thanks again!"

"Me and my family stayed a week here and we loved it! The location was convenient and the area was very nice and quiet. The home was clean and the owners were very easy to contact and kept in touch. The ac came in handy since the weather was very warm and humid when we visited. I would definitely stay here again and will definitely recommend them to others visiting the island. "

"So peaceful. While we wanted to be near some attractions near Hilo, we did not want to stay near a lot of people. We knew of this little community in Keaau and this property did not disappoint! While we were initially nervous about the lack of AC (for medical reasons I typically need it), we ended up having excellent sleep at this home and there were many ceiling fans that helped.
