First the good. The bedroom furniture is very nice and the beds are comfortable. The living room and eating area are also very nice. There are two TV's and many amenities that were not previously mentioned. There are chairs (to take to the beach), boogie boards, an umbrella, beach towels and snorkel equipment. All of which was very appreciated! One of the pools was having maintenance done, but that was no big deal, there are two others to choose from and they are very nice!
Don't worry a bit about the chickens (which are everywhere), they do a great job in keeping the bug population under control. We saw very few bugs at all.
The location is really perfect as it's half way to either the north or the south shore and is very close to the airport which is nice when you're coming in late. It's also within walking distance to the Long's Drug which comes in handy when you need to purchase something quick.
Now the bad. I found the owner to be less than forthcoming with information. It would have been nice to know you must check-in at the front desk to receive your key. I was told (only after I asked) to go directly to the condo. Also, just so you know, the front desk has laundry soap and dryer sheets for sale. We didn't know this and purchased some. We left them under the bathroom sink. Hopefully, they will still be there to be used in the future. We also bought a small styrofoam cooler and left it in the closet by the kitchen.
The condo was clean except for the kitchen floor. I know it hadn't even been swept because we found someone's smashed glass phone protector on the floor. There was also a squished bug that I was never able to get off the floor and it was just plain dirty.
The cupboards still don't close. An attempt has been made on a few of them with velcro, which isn't working.
The pictures are a bit deceiving, they were staged so there's no flowers, no chocolate or coffee and no table on the lanai, which was the disappointing part. You can't eat out there unless you want to put the food on your lap, there is just a small, low table.
There was plenty of shampoo and cream rinse to last the almost two weeks we were there, but not enough paper towel, or toilet paper and there was never any bath soap. These are things you take for granted, but we had to go buy them.
All-in-all probably more good than bad, but the bad reflects a lack of interest on the part of the owner.
