Do not stay here

While the condo had a wonderful view and a nice layout, the air conditioning was out four of the six days we were there. I called repeatedly to the property management group who repeatedly made excuses that they didn't control fixing the AC and that was done by the HOA/resort. I explained to them that we had purchased food to cook in the condo and instead because of the sweltering heat, we were unable to stay inside and cook (adding more heat) and ended up spending a lot of money eating out because our accommodation was so miserable. They didn’t bring us fans, they didn’t offer us any restaurant gift cards to help. they didn’t do anything. And to make matters worse they are making up lies about a compensation offer. All the do is make excuses. They don’t understand that 100% of my experience is the condo is on them. Not their sub contractors.

5-star! Drop dead gorgeous unit and view!

This is the nicest VRBO I've ever seen! The unit is spotless and very well maintained, great layout and was very comfortable for my family. The resort is great, we loved the lazy river, slides and beautiful pool. Easy parking, convenient to Safeway and great shaved ice! I had to call upon arrival and the management company was responsive and helpful.

Great location and views!

We would highly recommend this 3rd floor corner unit that overlooks the ocean and has plenty of space for a family of 6. The trash is on this level near the elevator which was super convenient, and unit G is also near the pools and beach access. The only complaint was an odd smell when we first entered the condo, but we didn’t notice it by morning. The location was perfect for getting to both the north and south shores. And having the Safeway across the street was so convenient!

Family Vacation

We totally enjoyed our stay. The rental unit was more spacious and even nicer than the photos online. The beds were very comfortable. The ocean and Mountain View’s from the balconies were breathtaking.

The photos did not do the room justice. So much room and the views were incredible. Fantastic pool. Only disappointing thing was no food or drink service at pool even though the restaurant is steps away.

Great View and location

Modern unit with a great view of the surf and coastline. Across the street from Safeway supermarket. Oasis Restaurant on site, Bullshed and Kenji's (takeout) are all walking distance and great places to dine.

Beautiful property

Overall it was a great stay and in a great location. The beach is not excellent but the pool is awesome. We had a couple issues and it was hard to get quick responses but overall this resort we would go back to again.

Great location/property

The condo was nicely appointed and great for our family vacation. Spent a fair amount of time on the deck which has views of the mountains and ocean. Very private. Easy beach access and great launching point for day trips. Conveniently located across from shopping for restocking and grabbing a quick bite. Newer property with no issues. Very prompt property manager assistance with restocking when requested. Would stay here again!

Great Kauai Location!

Condo is very well situated with a great lanai/views of both the ocean and mountains. Great for a cup of coffee in the morning or relaxation in the afternoon. Walk to the beach, walking trails, restaurants, etc. Great property for us and our three adult children. Location was great for day trips to a variety of Kauai attractions. Would stay here again!

Beautiful well appointed Kauai beach property

This property delivered on all fronts. It’s hard to appreciate the size of this unit from the pictures but it’s one of only a handful on the property that run the full width of the building as it’s an end unit with views of the ocean and the mountains. We were honestly surprised at the size as it was larger than we expected. The location is great as there’s a Safeway across the street, a Starbucks and an ABC store. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and we did a mix of eating out and eating in. The property managers were great and were very prompt at answering any questions we had. A few things to note if you stay there…the kitchen is well stocked but you will need to get a few basic staples such as cooking oil, butter, salt pepper and detergent if you plan on doing meals in. Also, a few people have commented on issues with the AC but we had no problems. Make sure all the doors are locked and if you move the main doors to the lanai to the right it completes the circuit and the AC comes on. On the clothes dryer, choose timed dry instead of the dryers sensor as it is inadequate in the humid Hawaiian climate. Follow these steps and you’ll have a great trip!

Great place to stay on Kauai

The property was in a great location with easy access to all of the island. There was also restaurants and shopping right across the street. We would stay there again. Only challenge we had was with the air conditioner. It was tricky figuring out how it worked since it is connected to the doors. It worked well once we figured it all out.

Wonderful stay for family

Our family of six (4 adults, 2 kids) stayed at G301 and the size/location of the unit were great. We cooked a few dinners in the unit and all the necessities were available (pans, utensils, a few spices, etc). Huge fridge. Functional washer/dryer. Only (very minor inconveniences were the codes for the pool area and the tv randomly turned on twice in the middle of the night waking our girls...very odd). About a 30-40 minute drive North to Hanalei and similar 30-40 minutes south to Poipu, so it was nice to be located in between as we made each drive (lesser traffic in morning) a few times during our stay. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay again at this resort and unit :).

Our favorite Waipouli

This was our third stay at Waipouli Resort, first time in this unit. We actually had another place in Princeville that we stayed at for six days, before moving to this location in the middle of our reservation due to dust/mold issues. I was happy to get this location quickly, and be able to move our family and food items over without any problems. The only problem I did have is with the amount of mold I saw. The place was clean, but there was two locations of mold I noticed in the master shower. This could not be cleaned after I pointed it out to them and housekeeping came through again. And I did notice mold on the curtains throughout the apartment. For as much as people want to enjoy the air and view of this area by opening windows, I think the mold needs to be addressed and cleaned on the curtains properly. There is also a tremendous amount of mold in the washing machine where it actually made me gag the first couple of times I used it for laundry. Go with the traditional style washing machine if you cannot maintain this. Otherwise this is a fabulous location with a great view. I don’t understand the $** a day charge for cleaning the room (asked to delete rate by VRBO), when housekeeping does not come throughout the stay. They do not change out bed linen, give new towels, or take out the trash. That is expected to be done by the family staying there. An app does have to be downloaded to do any checking in at the location.

Great Property

On the beach with an unobstructed view; very spacious; two big lanais; private (not overlooked); pool area is imaginative and good for adults and kids; very convenient location (shopping across the road - Safeway, etc.); easy access to South and North areas of Kauai; Oasis restaurant food was very good and lots of other good eateries close by.
