We enjoyed our stay. The room was supplied exactly as advertised. The bed was very comfortable however the sheets probably need updating as the bottom sheet wouldnt stay on. The room was clean for the most part but could use a deeper clean around the edges. We loved walking the trail and the sunrise at the beach each morning. Location is very handy to all your needs with Coconut Market next door. There is also Imau Coffee Roaster very close for friendly morning brew! Lava Lava was great for dinner by the beach as well. Would we stay again? Sure!!!

Everything was super clean, kitchen area was functional, the view from the balcony is perfect. Temperature of the room was easy to adjust to our liking. Hosts were very accommodating for our later checkout time due to our flight.Overall, would definitely stay here again.

This is a clean, well-maintained condo with a nice view. It's deserving of a 5-star rating but inaccuracies on the booking site caused issues.We were wrapping up a 3 week holiday in Australia, traveling only with carry-on luggage. When we decided to spend 4 days in Kauai, we chose this property in large part due to its clear statement under "Amenities" that Laundry service was available on site. We had no clean clothes left, and were in dire need of laundry. We did not have a rental car, so we needed to hire an Uber to take us to a laundromat, where we wasted 2 hours of our precious time on Kauai. The management company -- after must discussion -- did cover most of our Uber expenses, which was appreciated. But the incorrect information and the time it cost us was frustrating.All in all, however, a very nice unit.

Loved having the beach towels, chairs, cooler available. Great view from condo and the filtered water station available at the lobby. Beautiful gardens around the condo buildings complex and nice waterfront walkway. Host was accommodating and responded very quickly to emails.

The host was welcoming and helpful. Great location close to the ocean, pool, hot tub, Coconut Marketplace near by with shops and restaurants. We enjoyed eating on the deck with a view of the ocean. Was great to have lawn chairs, umbrella to use at the beach. Kitchen small but adequate. It would have been handier to have a Keurig rather than a drip coffee maker. We loved our stay at Islander on the Beach!

Great host, beautiful grounds and excellent location, with a view right from the balcony and stand between your toes in a minute.The room was comfortable and a skillet in the room made meals possible and easy. There is a Safeway nearby.Loved our choice and stay.

Easy check in. Adequate kitchenette. Clean room. Excellent location! The room is a bit tacky and dated. The carpet in the exterior of the building is old and mildewed and needs replacing. Beautiful view from the balcony however!

Beautiful location

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here. The view from the lanai is just as pictured. We enjoyed the pool and the lit tiki torches at night made it feel very Hawaiian. Communication with the host was excellent!

Great home base while exploring the island

We hardly spend time in our hotels when we travel because we spend most of it outside exploring. However, it was really nice to come back to an airconditioned unit especially during the summer, not just for the temperature, but also to cut down on the humidity.Our experience at this property was excellent - Candace was helpful throughout the entire stay and the check-in process was effortless. Free parking was a huge plus and easy to find, but it does fill up by the evening.The location of the Islander is also great as it's relatively central to the north and west side of the island. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit. Thank you!

The perfect pied-à-terre in PARADISE!

LOCATION LOCATION! LOCATION! MybHubbyband I have been traveling to Kauai 1-2 times per year for over a decade now and honestly, this wonderful studio is now our favorite location. Islander On The Beach is midway between all Kauai has to offer and being able to walk to our favorite restaurants, lounge on the beach or relax by the pool are just icing on the cake. This charming and cozy studio is decorated with breezy aloha, the AC keeps you cool and the view is OUTSTANDING. And the hosts? WONDERFUL! They are kind and responsive and everything you hope for in a STVR host. We look forward to returning! MAHALO!

Great resort, great location

We loved Blue Kauai. The property, Islander on the Beach, was beautiful and well maintained. Our condo was comfortable with just the right amount of amenities included. And the view from the deck was amazing! The location is centrally located in Kapa'a and is perfect if you plan to explore the entire island. If you prefer to stay close to your resort/hotel, the south and northern areas are much nicer in general, but this location was conveniently located to get around and see it all. Also, appreciated that the property is located behind a shopping area - multiple souvenir shops, restaurants, and a market. Was nice for those evenings when we came back exhausted and didn't want to go far.The property owner was quick to respond to questions and provided check-in procedures before our arrival.We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent location!

This property is in an excellent location. The views from the unit are beautiful. The pool and hot tub are perfectly located right next to the beach. Great little bar at the pool that serves drinks daily from 3-6! Lava Lava Beach Club is right next door and the Coconut Plantation shops and restaurants are across the parking lot. The property sits at the beginning of the famous bike trail which runs 6miles along the ocean.

Great location and beautiful resort

Blue Kauai is not a multi- million dollar high end resort - it has more of laid-back vibe. The grounds are lovely with incredible views, lots of birds (and yes, chickens) and walkways along the coast. The location is perfect - close to activities, airport and shopping. The Coconut Shopping Center is great. The Lava Lava Beach Club next store was our favorite bar/restraint of our entire stay in Hawaii.

Loved the location on Kauai

Great little bungalow! It was centrally located and close to the beach! Had nice little shops and eating places and the grounds were so beautiful! I will definitely stay here again! Working with the property manager was a breeze. They just sent us the code before we checked in and that was it. We had a wonderful time in Kauai.
