Good location

Nice old house in a good location near the Plaza. A little bit pricey though. For the price, I would have expected a little bit more upscale space with additional amenities, like a hot tub or pool. However, it was decent for a last-minute booking.

Good location

The home is in a great location, has off street parking, and had plenty of space for our group. The property needs and deep clean and some upkeep though. The bunk beds were very uncomfortable and the floors throughout the home are very creaky. The tiny en-suite shower was either super hot or cold, no in between. None of us could get the coffee maker to work and there were no wash cloths. So, great location but not the most comfortable stay.

70th Christmas Reunion

It was a great location. Cozy home with a great living, dining and kitchen areas. Good parking. My only recommendation is that they upgrade the rug and pillows…I’m sure they take a beating. We had a wonderful time there kicking off the Christmas Season. Thank You

Group trip to American Royal

Seven college kids and one Mom called this place home for eight nights during American Royal horse show (Hale Arena at Hyvee Center). 15 minute commute, off street parking for 3-4 cars was great. Quiet area but close to terrific shopping, restaurants about 1/4 mile 15 min walk. Park across street feels like a small Central Park and great for walk after busy day. Condo itself had perfect layout for us and never felt crowded even with eight. Would definitely stay again. Contact was also very responsive and helped me adjust dates, even at last minute.

Incredible location

Could not ask for a better location. Loose Park is beautiful and just across the street. Walk to the Plaza and all it has to offer. It is an old home. It does not demonstrate pride of ownership. Invasive vines growing in un-kept landscape. Looking forward to enjoying the screen porch for morning coffee per the listing. In a word, it was filthy. Caked with dust including the furniture. Un-useable. Upon entering we were met with a foyer that would have appeared not to have been vacuumed in weeks. The cleanliness of the actual unit was fine. The appliances were very nice as well as the décor. Our guests used our shower in that the en-suite was tiny. Bedding was comfortable. Ample linen and pillows.

Perfect location, great apartment.

A group of us were in town for business and sightseeing and the apartment was perfect with the proximity to Luce Park and the Plaza. I’m good condition and the communication with the host was great. Will definitely use again.

Good!

Mostly very happy. Small details did pop up: Shower only had super hot water. Fireplace didn’t work. One of the controllers didn’t work Etc. Very grateful overall as we had an excellent time and appreciated the privacy. Good house, cool outdoor space, good stay, would definitely return and recommend

Great home

This was our second time to stay at this property. It is adorable and very comfortable for my family to meet for Christmas. We meet family and our elderly father in KC and are able to cook and visit and enjoy our time together. We will probably be back next year.

Nice historic home in a beautiful area

Such a pretty home in a great central location. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the park across the street is beautiful. The layout was great for two couples, and there’s a great bunk room for kids too. We had a lovely weekend in KC - thanks for hosting us!

Great house, great location

This home across from loose park was perfect for our group of friends in town for a birthday. A 10-minute Uber from some of KC best spots (plaza, crossroads, Westport). Mike was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, Great Little Spot

We had a wonderful stay here. House was clean and appointed well. My only minor wish was for the 3 season porch to have been clean for use. But, it certainly was not that big of a deal. The location is perfect. We enjoyed walking in the park each evening. Parking for 2 cars was easy and convenient. We would certainly stay here again. Recommend strongly!

Family christmas

We were looking for a place to get together for Christmas as my Father in law has sold his house and moved into a retirement facility. This house was perfect for my family of 5 and the rest of the family that was in a hotel to get together for the holiday. It was perfectly stocked for cooking our Christmas dinner and the den was big enough for us all to watch football and visiting. The Christmas tree up was a great touch. We have already talked about returning.

Excellent location and charm

The location was excellent, close to the Plaza and having Loose park across the street was very enjoyable. Loved the character of the home and the outside screened porch was amazing. We definitely will be back.

College Reunion/Girls Trip

We decided to rent this property while attending a local college reunion. Since there was a group of us, we wanted to stay at a house near the campus where we could all be together but not feel cramped. This property was perfect for what we needed. It provided us with ample space in a great location (near the park) and even with 8 people, and it never felt crowded. The property felt light and airy, and the outdoor space provided a great gathering space for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. As a bonus, there are e-chargers directly across the street in the park, so those of us with hybrids could pop over and charge without any difficulty.

Great Location with a clean and safe home.

What a nice home and we really enjoyed our weekend in KC. The home was in an unbelievable neighborhood with close proximity to County Club plaza and also the Westport area. Mike was a pleasure to work with and we had great conversation and expected response time. I have already told several people about the home and want to plan a couples weekend with the kids. We will be back!
