Relaxing and comfortable

We were in KC to visit family and stayed at the penthouse for over a week. The space is comfortable and nicely appointed. It was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The space is well decorated and we enjoyed the views of the museum’s sculpture garden nearby.

Elevator out of service- cut our stay in half

Utilized 1st part of our 2 night our reservation and the elevator went out of service on the 2nd day. Half of our group couldn't walk up/down 8 flights of stairs. Not happy with their insistence that this is out of their control. Owner credited 100, which feels less than fair given that we had to go elsewhere for our KC stay.

Good choice

Would stay again. We are older therefore for us and probably because we dont download apps etc we found the communication hard but unit fun coukd have been cleaner but not bad. Parking was nit a problem.

Clean for the most part. Vents in bathrooms and HVAC system need cleaning! Cracks in shower tile on floor in 2nd bathroom, inviting bacteria. Shower was only luke warm. Master shower was nonfunctional. Handyman and plumber were both called, but parts were unavailable. Quick response from management was made, but didn’t get resolved during our 11 day stay. Kitchen cooking supplies were minimal and could use updated. Strainer? Serving bowls? FYI:Unloading was a frustration with two doors that required pass codes and an elevator. Parking was street parking only with restricted hours in some areas. Pack light! Sirens on street were constant.

Great place, spectacular views

I stayed here alone, but it’s a good place for two couples. The bedrooms each have their own bathroom and are well separated from each other. Except for the bathrooms, the walls don’t go to the ceiling, so there isn’t a lot of sound isolation. But it’s beautiful and comfortable and I’d stay here again.

Spring Break in the city.

Our stay here was amazing. We walked to the museum across the street and walked down to a popular and old time diner down the road. Great location. The apartment had everything we needed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the lack of hot water for showering, and the tv was broke in the master bedroom. Management was great with responding.

Can't say enough great things

We didn't know what to expect of KC in the winter, but this property was the best home base for our visit ever. Location was wonderful, easy walk to lots of food and drink! House was spotless and tastefully decorated. Included everything that we needed! Guest bathroom doesn't have much room for placing things girls need, makeup, hair appliances etc. but we just shared the master. Host provided useful books as well as a guest book that we used for ideas of places to visit. Museum across the street is a must see! Highly recommend and would stay here again. And we were so glad that the elevator was working!

Great Thanksgiving!

We came to Kansas City to spend Thanksgiving with my husband‘s brother and his wife. We love the Plaza and the location was great. Having Pizza 51 just down the street and the Whole Foods market was also very convenient. We attended a Chiefs game on Friday and had many memorable and delicious meals. We were able to walk to the Capital Grille, Gram & Dun. Took an Uber to Union Station and ate at Pierpont’s. Walked to TaHa Mexican restaurant, which was excellent! The Penthouse was beautiful had great views and the common area allowed us plenty of time to visit with family. We would highly recommend this property.

Penthouse Stay

The property is as described. It was nicely decorated, clean and had the necessary amenities. We were happy to find out the elevator was working. We didn't want to climb eight flights with luggage. The parking can be a little tricky if you don't hit the area at the right time. We had to drive around the block a few times because the off street parking was full. There were a lot of visitors to the museum because of homecoming pictures being taken. Otherwise we were veey pleased with our stay.

Great location and amazing property

My family came to KC for a long weekend and to explore the city. This property felt like it was a perfect location to visit all the different areas we wanted to see without being too far from any. Kristen was awesome and timely with any questions we had and the unit itself was impeccable. So tastefully designed and thought out. we loved the industrial feel combined with the high end design. You certainly can not get this at a hotel. We enjoyed wine on the roof, games at the table and never wanted to leave the amazingly comfortable beds! The stairs were a pain but we laughed about it every time we used them and are really excited about our strong tushes 😜. There is no way we ate enough BBQ so we plan to be back!

Cute Place but a lot of Miscommunication

The stairs were terrible but that was communicated ahead of time. I was not given the information that the street would be shut down the following day and overnight signs were up to close the street and as a result my car was towed resulting in a huge fine. When communicating with the manager all the blame was placed on me, saying no other cars in the building got towed (which they did) so it’s was my problem for parking unknowingly in a tow away zone. We also were not notified of the huge festival at the adjacent park making trying to find a parking spot nearly impossible. There was also no hot water for showers. No operating elevator and no hot water makes me question that this building’s maintenance is not kept up with.
