Due to the very low tides on the Dutch west coast, low and high tides are hardly noticeable, so that nothing stands in the way of your bathing pleasure on a beautiful sandy beach. The holiday resort of Julianadorp is idyllically surrounded by numerous flower fields. Amsterdam is only about an hour's drive away and is ideal for day trips. You can also visit the island of Texel with its unique nature, which can be reached quickly by ferry from neighbouring Den Helder.
