Love this place!

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this property. We just love it. Super clean and such a beautiful home. Kitchen has absolutely you need. Would stay again.

Beautiful seclusion

Beautiful property and view. Had everything we needed. Very clean and spacious. Secluded, didn’t see anyone while on the property. Loved sitting in hanging chairs while watching the sunrise. The big windows were fantastic.

A very comfortable and relaxing oasis hidden down a dusty road. We used it as a pitstop midway between Tucson and the CA coast, but we enjoyed it so much we will extend our trip to spend a few days next time!

Perfect JT getaway with friends

House was impeccably decorated and the cleanest VRBO I’ve rented. Loved the laidback vibe and all of the outdoor space. We used the day bed outside to look at the stars and night, we grilled both nights by the cowboy tub and I laid on the hammock after hiking in JTNP. Everyone slept well, and everything worked except we couldn’t get the record player to work and the keypad was dead upon.check in but fortunately manager was responsive. Would definitely stay here again for girls trip.

Joshua Tree NP in the backyard

Location was great for a four-friends-hiking-trip in and around JTNP! Beds were comfortable, views were fantastic, outdoor seating areas were utilized, houses were separated from each other so you felt spread out. Enjoyed our stay!

amazing stay

This is the second time my friends and I stayed at this place and the reason is we had an amazing stay the first time which was few months ago and that made us book this place again. I strongly recommend this place and for sure will get back to this place for another stay later. Communication with property manager, cleanliness, peace and quiet, amenities and comfort are getting 5 star ranting

Wonderful desert getaway

Perfect in every way! The home was spacious and very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of outdoor seating to watch the sunset and do some star gazing at night. Wish we could have stayed longer.

One of my family's favorite trips ever!

We brought my (now) 13 year old daughter here for her birthday. I really can't say enough about our experience. The host left a lovely gift for my daughter which was so appreciated, the place is impeccably clean, the views and the silence are breathtaking. You are minutes from the national park and to food/drink/shops, yet very secluded and tranquil. We are planning a trip back to this home we enjoyed it so much. If this home is in consideration for your trip to Joshua Tree, skip the others and just book this one. You won't be disappointed.

Already booking another stay

The check in/out process was completely remote and the Homestead Modern team was super accessible and responsive. At one point I was just texting them pictures for the fun of it! Just one noticeable difference, they’ve upgraded the Bluetooth sound system from the JBL. They are now hardwired speakers with a Bluetooth function and are connected directly to the record player. The collection of records on hand was quite varied though I only recognized three of the names, it was a lovely addition. We’ll definitely bring our own vinyls with us next time. The Kitchen was very well stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, cookie sheets and even an immersion blender! Heads up, the Kitchen Faucet is one of those fancy water saving touch ones, that took a hot second to get used to but totally fine. You just tap the faucet to turn it on/off OR use the handle. The stove is a gas stove which was awesome, I don’t care what anyone says gas stoves are better than electric. Literally, only complaint is that the potato peeler was very cheap and didn’t work - not a deal breaker. We only used the Master Suite as it was just the two of us (plus our Morkie) but the bed was firm and comfy, the pillows were awesomely floofy and the sliding door to the outside made it so nice to step out and stare at the stars in the middle of the night. There is another house about a quarter mile down the road and another half a mile up the road but we felt secluded the whole time. We’ll be back!

Amazing

Great communication and detailed instructions down to a t. It was an amazing stay the place is so well designed with an awesome vibe nice view well maintained place and in one word a perfect place for a trip and relax. Strongly recommend.
