"旅先の渋滞に何度も巻き込まれ、夜９時を回ってしまいました ホテルにあらかじめ遅くなってしまう電話をいれましたが、11時でも１２時でも大丈夫ですよ、と気遣いの言葉を掛けていただき安心しました 設備に関しては、部屋のエアコンをつけて３０分後に勝手に切れてしまい。 本体やリモコンを調べましたが、原因がわかりませんでした 夜中に差し掛かっていたので受付に電話することもためらわれ。 何も報告できずチェックアウトとなりました ごめんなさい "

"I ended up being super late due to unforseen circumstances and wasnt able to check in properly, however, there was a clear map with instructions in the entrance allowing me to still get in and get to sleep as well as meet with property owner the mext morning to clear things up. My room was clean, the place was nice, my bed was comfortable and the owner was very understanding and homely."

"The person at the front desk spoke English very well. This was one of the most unique (in a good way) properties that I stayed at. The room was spotless, and in the traitional Japanese style. It was very large and had a mini SNES with large TV. The window blinds were of the traditional so I woke up early. There is a game room with some retro games as well as a massage chair. "We only stayed one night. We had a large, modernized Edo-era two-story apartment (bedroom, dining and living; toilet and soaking tub/shower) with a private courtyard view in a building separate from our friends in Sasayama Castle Town. We could walk throughout the town with our friends and visit each other's full-sized apartments (complimentary shuttle also available with pre-arrangement). "The hotel is above a little restaurant. Meals are not included, but they are very good traditional Japanese food. The place is literally right behind the Biei train station, which is an ideal location for pretty much everything. The owners didn't speak too much English, but I was able to make due with my limited Japanese. The AC in the room was weak, but being Hokkaido all I had to do was open the window with the screen and my room was perfect."

"Llegar fue complicado, la dirección no coincidía con lo que veíamos en google maps. Finalmente en otra página encontramos las instrucciones y llegando a la última estación un taxi nos llevó con la ayuda de un japonés muy amable que conocía el ryokan. Desde que llegamos la atención fue muy especial, todo superó nuestras expectativas. La habitación, el baño compartido y la comida. Excelente lugar para conocer y vivir la experiencia de estar en Ryokan. "
