Girls trip

Wir sind 6 Freunde und waren schon letztes Jahr auf Curacao 🇨🇼 im Urlaub. Dieses Jahr haben wir die Villa Vista gemietet und ich kann nur sagen ein Traum. Gerade wenn man mit mehreren Personen verreist, brauch man das richtige Objekt. Diese Villa liegt in Jan Thiel sehr zentral, ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet genügend Platz auch für eine größere Gruppe. Am besten war die Proberty Managerin Jill die gute Seele der Villa (nochmal vielen Dank für den Superjob von ihr) Abschließend kann ich nur sagen, es war ein kleines Paradies und wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt!!!! überzeugt ein

Great space, private pool

The home had plenty of room for our group of 7. Two kitchen spaces, large dining areas, beautifully landscaped. Overall, it was a perfect layout for large groups to enjoy. Be cautious when using air conditioning units as it is easy to add on expenses. Did have some problems with a few of the ac’s, but the maintenance team was able to fix one early in the stay. I would recommend this rental to family’s or larger groups with various levels of adventure.

Absolutely perfect location

The property really was great. The proximity to the beach and the wonderful pool were great. I would stay here again, and I will also give 2 opportunities for improvement. 1. The top drawer of the downstairs dishwasher does not operate correctly, fixing this will help future visitors. 2. The check in process could be improved. When we called from the road to say we were on the highway, we were asked how far away we were. We have never been to the island before, we were not using GPS, we had no idea how far away we were. Secondly, as we checked in, we were tired, hungry and very hot, we were told we could open the doors/windows to cool down the house, but were warned that the mosquitos were REALLY bad and were making people sick. So hearing this in the first 10 minutes of getting to the house, we thought, great, we will either be hot or bitten up by mosquitos and sick. We found that the mosquitos were not a problem at all after we had been there a few days.

A great place to stay

Just returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Vista. We highly recommend this spacious, well-appointed villa. It offers many different spaces perfect for the different times of day. Our favorite was the upper deck where we enjoyed spectacular sunsets every evening while sipping on champagne. With 4 ensuite bedrooms, everyone has their own privacy when needed. The pool is a good size and a comfortable temperature with ample sitting /lounging options. The whole place was clean and well-kept. Our host Joe was responsive to enquiries and easy to deal with. One of the best aspects of the rental is the wonderful management team. They were extremely helpful and patient with our questions and requests. They were prompt and efficient with both check-in and check out. This villa is ideally located a quick walk to a supermarket, car rental places, bars, restaurants, hiking spots and a great beach in Jan Thiel. The beach has good amenities and good snorkelling.The area seemed very safe and was quiet. It is important for anyone coming to the area of Jan Thiel to have a vehicle. It is a great area, but a longish drive into Willemstad and far from most of the island's other sites. Overall, it was a wonderful choice and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Jan Thiel Stay

Excellent communication and responsiveness by owner and manager throughout the process. The house was as advertised -- vey nice, clean, conveniently located to Jan Thiel Beach and its restaurants and market. And all at a reasonable price. The one thing I would note, though, and this has been raised in other reviews, is that while there are individual air conditioners in each bedroom, even in January, the living areas could be quite hot and muggy, with little help from the ceiling fans. This setup may be typical for high-end rental homes in Curacao, but, especially as the electricity use monitored and (over a certain level) charged to renters, I would really urge the owner to pop air conditioners into the main living spaces and let people choose how much power they are willing to pay for. Otherwise, all was excellent.

Stayed there with friends/family . Property was exactly as described and pictured. Staff was extremely helpful and very responsive. They did update the bathrooms floor was just a little slippery when wet. Stores and beach as described. Definitely will make it back there. I was a little afraid from other reviews about animals around the property but that was not the issue at all.

Fabulous

Everything about our stay here was fabulous! The house was great, location is fantastic and the management team was very professional and responsive! Only one recommendation would be a device in the pool so any wild animals that might fall in don’t drown. I saved a couple! You do need to buy everything you’ll need for bar soap to laundry soap but the grocery store nearby makes that easy. We will be back for sure and will seek out this property once again!

Fantastic rental for a girlfriend getaway

This VRBO was excellent! It was just the right fit for a girls getaway trip. The amenities were top notch. Pool was refreshing and relaxing. Loved that each room had a private full bathroom. So close to the beach. Great location that is close to a cute market and restaurants. Would definitely rent this place again.

Terrific choice in Curacao

This house was a perfect choice for our family of four while staying in Curacao. An easy, 5 min walk to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants, the location can’t be beat in Jan Thiel. The property is beautiful (the pictures don’t do it justice) and has extremely high security (house alarm, locked exterior gate, and neighborhood security that drives around 24 hours/day). The house is spacious and offers three outdoor living areas and two hammocks. The beds are comfortable, the kitchens are well equipped, and it’s very clean. The AC cools the bedrooms quickly. The owners and management company were responsive, kind, and very welcoming. I highly recommend this rental for your stay in Curacao!

10 day vacation

We stayed at the property for 10 days. The home is large and great spot close to Jan Theil beach area.(5 min walk) pool area is nice, no heat in pool so its a bit chilly. Overall great location to spend for a week or longer.

Mooie villa en plek voor een superrelaxte vakantie op Curaçao!

We hebben 12 heerlijke dagen gehad in deze mooie villa die werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien is. De locatie is ook perfect, een paar minuutjes lopen van Jan Thiel beach. Het contact met Pink Beheer was heel goed, er werd meteen op onze vragen gereageerd en niets was teveel gevraagd. Kortom: een aanrader!!

Awesome location and relaxing atmosphere

Great House and Location; needs screens

Overall, great house, wonderful lay out, and fantastic location. The only concern is that they charge for added electric to run air conditioners in the bedrooms, but there are not screens on any of the doors or windows (nor fans in the bedrooms), making leaving the house open at night to use the cool winds difficult due to insect bite risk (during the day, was enough breeze could leave the house open).

Geweldig vakantiehuis!

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad van 3 weken. Samen met mijn man, en zoon van 7 hebben Wij genoten van Curaçao en dit heerlijke huis. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Veel schone handdoeken en badlakens. Heb je even zin om een dagje thuis te blijven, dan is dat absoluut geen straf! Een heerlijk groot zwembad, genoeg ligstoelen… echt een aanrader. De communicatie is snel en goed. Je krijgt direct antwoord via de app of telefoon. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug

Location facile... mais attention auX extraS qui cumulent vite !!!! Personnes supementaires, kilowatt excédentaire, mètre cube d'eau excédentaire... même en faisant attention (sans les climatiseurs) on arrive vite aux limites du forfait! A Wonderful Family Accommodation!

We are a family of six and found this property to be highly functional and comfortable. It is perfectly situated within easy walking distance to the beach, a host restaurants and eateries nestled along the beachfront, and a Dutch grocery with fresh food and baked goods. The property was a great place to kick our feet up, enjoy the sun, the ocean breeze, and completely decompress under beautiful sunsets. Very clean and safe! The only challenge we had was being able to interpret the details associated with our stay when it comes to utility usage and check-in voicemail as they were in Dutch. The local property manager was very friendly and responsive. We look to rebook again in the future and therefore highly recommend this property when looking to experience Curacao!
