The view and the property themselves are great. However the condo itself needs some repairs. Its not so much that it needs "updated" but needs things fixed, from missing blinds (there is little to no lightbblocking in master bedroom so be prepared for full sun first thing in the morning) to rusting bath tub, patches and paint needed on walls, broken lamp shade etc. The rental company contacted us before we checked in saying a bathroom light cover was missing but they had that on order. I thought that was kinda funny because i wouldnt have even noticed with all the other things missing or broke (2 of the 6 bathroom bulbs were brunt out).Over all the rental company people were very nice and responsive. The condo was missing any beach umbrellas (i had called a few days prior to make sure it would have one) and with in a few hours they delivered one to the condo. The tv in the master bedroom was broken and they offered for someone to come out and look at it right away, though we declined because we didnt need it.The king and queen mattresses were comfy, lots of towels and blankets provided. The condo wasnt dirty per say but it definitely was a very rushed cleaning job. We found lots of pet hair on areas that should have been cleaned.

The biggest pro was the location. Easy access to the pool and beach. The beach and ocean was beautiful. A lot of pretty shells everywhere!The only con was not having a clear picture of where an extra vehicle was allowed to park. The initial check-in instructions say there is only one vehicle allowed per condo and extra parking is designated elsewhere, but no diagram or instructions of where that is (that I could find). I reached out and was told that it was at another complex about 0.8 miles down from Turtle Dunes. I just wish that would have been more clear. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon.

Don’t rent with these people

The unit at turtle dunes was outdated and totally not worth the money we spent. I called repeatedly to Amelia Island vacations, and was promised that the property manager would get back to me but here she never did.! Called repeatedly and no one ever answered – so I left voicemails, but they never responded to them. I will use Vacasa next time.

Great get-away spot

We were looking for a place to get away to for spring break. We found this spot on Vrbo and booked the property. Very easy booking process. We were delighted to find that it was surprisingly not a crowded beach for mid March… very nice to not have hundreds of people crowded around you. Property was nice; pool was clean; lots of walking and biking trails available onsite. (Only negative was the maintenance guys working from a boom lift in front of, and on one day, ON our balcony, 4 of the 6 days we were there.) Well definitely consider this property again when in the area.

Great Ocean View

Condo was nice, ocean view from living room and balcony was awesome. Short walk to beach. Overall grounds were beautiful. Had a great week and will definitely return!

Beautiful Beach, Disappointing Rental

We were disappointed that the Turtle Dunes pool was closed for repairs for the entirety of our stay. Then, the master bedroom ceiling leaked buckets of water for 2 days. Stains on the carpet, and broken lamp shades gave the unit a less than clean feeling overall.

Peaceful Condo with Stunning View

We are a family of five (kids ages 5-9) and this condo was absolutely perfect. The view off the balcony is gorgeous. The convenience to getting to the beach is so nice. No long walks or steps. Multiple TVs with no issues getting any streaming service. Also being in the Omni development with the restaurants, minature golf, etc is so convenient too. Everyone in our family was very happy.

Beutiful area but dated condo

The condo itself was as clean as one could make ut, given it dated appointments. DW was very loud; dryer squealed perhaps due to a slipping beltt; mbr bathroom was tired with rusting bath drain and moldy shower curtain;2nd bath toilet "rocked; cleaning crews kept the tired condo and the building itself very neat and tidy, however. Dedinitly would not rent again but other buildings surrounding it looked newer.

Lovely quiet spot

We had a great stay at this property. The view from the bedroom and the balcony is incredible. And it’s an easy trip to the beach. The property grounds are meticulous and the beach is very quiet. The condo is fairly small but cute and well maintained. The only complaint we had was that the hot water heater is incredibly small and we couldn’t run a bath for our daughter. But the property managers were very responsive.

Love Amelia and the Plantation

Very nice condo unit in the lovely Amelia Island Plantation. Loved having provision of beach chairs and beach cart in the condo. My only suggestion would be installing a curtain in the living room with the sliding glass doors — no curtain made for very bright mornings with sun in the eyes. Overall would stay here again.

Wonderful stay. Great location. Beautiful views. Finding the unit was rather confusing. Needed a little more info on where to enter guard gate and what level the unit was on. We had a lovely time.

Snowbirds

The unit was fine. We did not enjoy the high top table and chairs on balcony. It was very uncomfortable. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. The listing stated we would have access to a gym/weight room, but we did not. This was misleading. The area was very nice and certainly enjoyed our stay in Amelia, but we will not rent this unit again.

Wedding Weekend

Contacted mgt regarding stain on bedroom carpet and living room chair upon arrival. Major noise issue for two days (during the day) with demolition regarding tile/carpet being removed from the condo below the unit we stayed in. Otherwise, great location for our needs.
