Made some wonderful memories

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this condo. Very convenient location -wise and it is a classy place. We ran into a bit of a stressful situation called Hurricane Milton but the staff kept us well informed and we felt safe staying through the storm. The condo was roomy and nicely decorated. There were a few minor inconveniences i.e. ice maker wouldn't spit out ice and the blender needs to be replaced as it leaks but, again, minor issues that can be easily remedied. We loved it and hope to return next year! View was beautiful! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo!

Beach House

Great location in general and our end unit apartment was great. Views were inspiring. All appliances, furniture, beds were very workable and suitable. Lighting good except the overhead Kitchen light needs to be replaced (the worst florescent light). I would definitely rent again.

Great property and location for blended family but needs a few family friendly additions

This property was the perfect set up for our blended family. My partner and I both have 2 children so having 2 guest rooms with twin beds and each having their own bath was ideal! The guest beds are also located at the opposite ends of the house from the master so there is peace and quiet! The master has a nice king bed now (not pictured in photos) which was perfect. Proximity to the beach is incredible-the kids could just bop down whenever they wanted. It’s nice having the pool right outside the condo too-the balcony is pretty much the closest one you can get to the pool (although the pool was chilly this time of year as it’s not heated). We loved the size and space the condo had to offer and the balcony and views are to die for! The absolute BEST part of this condo is the location and access to The Ritz. It is literally right next door and there is a path right to the property. You can just walk right in and have access to the MANY amenities The Ritz has to offer. Tons of food and drink options including nice restaurants and poolside bars, multiple HEATED pools with poolside services, outdoor yard games, even free caricature drawings and balloon animals for kids. It’s incredible to have access to all that without the price of a Ritz room (don’t worry we spent enough in food and drinks at the property to make up for it). The hands down WORST part of this condo is the dishwasher. It sounds minor but this appliance is absolutely disgusting. Mildew and mold all over it and when you run it the whole condo smells like sulphur. We attempted to use it once and nothing was clean so ended up hand washing the whole time (not ideal for a family of 6). The kitchen is also in need of more supplies. There is plenty of dishes/cups but for a condo of this size you would expect more cooking items such as pots, pans and skillets for families to cook. Finally, while we knew ahead of time I was disappointed that a family centered unit like this one didn’t even have beach chairs in the unit for use. There is not a convenient spot to rent them either so we ended up doing without. Beach chairs at a minimum would go a long way for amenities in this unit! All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend to others for the set up of unit, views and beach location, and proximity and access to The Ritz. Just needs a few things to be more family friendly. The property management team is also top notch and very communicative. Thanks for a great week!

Lovely Holiday at the Beach

My family spent Thanksgiving at this condo and invited more family over for the big dinner. Comfortable beds and couches. The unit makes it easy to spread out and have separate space for everyone even with a crowd. There is combined dining seating for 10 people. The unit is even *almost* completely wheelchair accessible—my cousin who joined us for dinner was able to access the elevator and the entire unit with his chair except for the bathrooms and the deck. Many other Amelia units have stairs even inside the condo so this was welcome!! Besides having everything we needed in the kitchen, there were plenty of towels and soap to go around. There are kindly several beach towels for your use in the laundry room. The unit was mostly clean, but the shower in the main bedroom had some mildew and there was a general mildew smell around the front entrance. Neither bothered us enough to request assistance. We loved the beautiful view from the deck and the easy access to the beach. There was a family of turtles living in the dunes!! We even saw fireworks at the Ritz from our balcony. Too cold for the pool, but I imagine it might be slightly noisy in this unit in the summer when it’s open as it’s just below the deck for this unit. Overall, we highly recommend and would definitely return.

Beautiful but small beds

Beautiful place and right on the beach. Our only complaint was all the twin beds were very small twin beds. Not good for average size men. Narrow and short. Otherwise beautiful location and property.

Great location/ unit needs updating

Stayed at Ocean Place for several years; location is excellent; the bldg needs a facelift and good cleaning in public areas. Unit 41 in Bldg 2 is good BUT needs remodeling. Dishwasher is terrible; tubs take a long time to drain; tv is old and sound is awful. These updates will put this unit back on excellent list

Wonderful stay

We loved this place.. The only issue we had was the gate code we were given was incorrect. The condo is tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. There is a very nice porch overlooking the beach and pool. There is plenty of parking, an elevator and a cart to bring your belongings upstairs. Please note that all of the beds are twin beds.

fantastic location

2nd floor with huge balcony. Excellent view of the ocean. Plenty of room and privacy for 6 people. Fully equipped kitchen with actual sharp knives. good close parking. Excellent water pressure. The only negative is the snail paced elevator, would not reccommend a high floor.

Nice Condo, good experience

Read the reviews and was prepared with bringing our own chairs and beach towels. The condo was clean and maintained well, but would have appreciated if the kitchen was a little more stocked with cooking ware and even more than 6 dinner plates considering the current pandemic situation. Otherwise our experience was great.
