This unit is absolutely stunning—beautifully upgraded with the most well-equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in any condo or home we’ve stayed at over the years. The communication from the manager/owner was impeccable, making the entire experience seamless. We would return here again without hesitation!

Excellent property

We had a great stay at this property. It’s in an idealLocation on the island, central to so many places. The balcony is huge and provides beautiful, relaxing ocean-front views….perfect for dolphin spotting! The kitchen was spacious and provided us with everything we needed throughout the week. We appreciated the fact that there were some supplies on hand like ziploc bags, salt and pepper, olive oil, etc. There was an ample supply of Turkish towels for use at the pool and beaches and the ly provided plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. All of these details made our stay top notch.

Beach Getaway

Condo is located directly on the beach and the balcony faces East. Loved the convenience to the beach, the Ritz Carlton and close by amenities (grocery store, shops, etc). The Condo is well stocked with plates, utensils, cookware, etc. There is a Keurig and drip coffeemaker. It really is a great location and the property manager was super helpful (and very nice!) when a few things came up. Would definitely recommend if you want to be close to the beach and have easy access to all that Amelia Island has to offer.

Active construction site

We were not notified that the property is an active construction site until we arrived, were entering the condo and saw a sign telling us it was an active construction site and there may be falling debris. My daughter was scarred to get in the elevator because it was covered in ram board and looked under construction. Our first step on our balcony, we saw three large lifts moving, beeping loudly, and scaffolding on the building next to us. What would’ve been our building’s pool had trash floating in it. They closed our building’s pool and boardwalk completely so we had to walk to the next building to go to the beach, still walking near large items being lifted up high. A man came into the unit while we were eating lunch to assemble a table, asking us where parts were. Two separate mornings men came on our balcony from the lifts. One time my child was on the balcony by himself. One time the man was playing music with cuss words and my son was inside. The work started as early as 6:20. Every morning we were woken by the sounds of saws, lifts or leaf blowers. My husband spent much of his time emailing and texting with the property host, and talking to people in the office. She only offered a 30% discount because we stayed and, according to her, enjoyed our vacation. This wasn’t our idea of enjoying a vacationing. We didn’t have other options unless we didn’t want a vacation! We felt deceived by the listing and not compensated fairly.

March visit

The condo is terrific. The property manager contacted us before the trip to let us know about balcony maintenance that had not been completed on time and we would not be able to use the balcony. We appreciated the transparency and decided to stay at the condo anyway. The lack of balcony - even though we knew about it - is the only reason we rated the accuracy of the listing as a 4. We couldn't really evaluate that part of the condo compared to the listing. Great location & we had a great time and will return.

Amazing view!

The condo was impressive - tastefully decorated, light and airy with everything we needed - we had 6 people staying and everyone had plenty of room. The ocean view was amazing from the expansive balcony. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing beach views with the comforts of home

We arrived the day before hurricane Debby, so unfortunately we had to stay inside for 2 days. The kitchen was well stocked with every kitchen appliance and utensils to prepare multiple meals, a day for our family of 6. The space was big enough to spread out and comfortable enough to sit together and play games that were available. The balcony was a huge selling point, plenty of seating and gorgeous views. The condo is located a 15 minute drive to all the cute shops and restaurants of historic downtown and 20 minutes from every modern convenience. This was our first trip to Amelia Island and I don’t think my wife would want to stay anywhere else. Thanks so much Michelle for the great communication and amazing space for our summer vacation!

Ocean Place Condo

Excellent impression. Beautiful view of the ocean. Handy pool access and just a short walk to the ocean. Internet was adequate. Excellent Master and two other sufficient bedrooms. Definitely would consider this property if we want to do another family vacation on Amelia Island.

Perfect stay during our family vacation!

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the ocean from the large balcony was outstanding! We really enjoyed walking to the Ritz next door for breakfast at Coast and shopping. The parking was gated and very convenient. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Ocean Place 86 was excellent. The listing was accurate, views were excellent, facility was extremely clean, ease of access was exceptional. We took kids & grandkids on this trip & hope to return, just the 2 of us. Excellent VRBO!!
