We came for the car show at The Ritz Carlton and the location was perfect! The extra touches of snacks and coffee were very thoughtful! The condo has great views of the sunrise over the beach. Very clean and comfortable!

Great Stay!

We headed to Florida on the Monday that Hurricane Debby hit. Lindsay from Guest Cottage was phenomenal. She stayed in touch with me for the duration of our drive letting us know we could check in early. Then calling back to let us know we would need to be moved to a different location (Ocean Place) due to water coming in on our originally booked first floor condo. Checked in again to make sure we got settled and everything was okay. I’m sure Amelia south would have been amazing as well. We had a great stay after the rain passed. Plenty of room, and the condo was well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Very clean. Great view. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Will definitely book again in the future!

Perfect for families

It was perfect! Plenty of space for my family of four. Comfortable and well stocked. Loved the first floor location and proximity to pool and beach. Being on the first floor did not inhibit ocean views at all. Can’t wait to stay again!

You Are Welcome Here

It was a pleasure dealing with Guest Cottage. My sisters and I took our traditional beach trip to Amelia Island. We rented a property managed by Guest Cottage..Once inside the rental we were amazed to find extra perks that went beyond our expectations. There were plentiful supplies from extra facial tissue, soap, body wash, and lotion to a welcoming basket of snacks. The unit was so clean and check in and check out was so easy. The folks at Guest Cottage were easy to contact and very responsive to any question that we had. I will search them out the next time we vacation in that area.

Beautiful location

The condo was very nice. Only complaints would be inaccurate code instructions for entry door, sliding door to porch is not easy to open/close, the extra charges were not disclosed in the listing and the tv in the bedroom was not operating.

End of summer getaway

We had a nice stay in this unit. It was ideal on the first floor with easy access to the beach. It was located mid island, so getting downtown or to the south end was only a short 10 minute drive in either direction. Communication with the property management was very good and responsive. The unit did have two beach chairs and an umbrella, however the umbrella was broken and the chairs were very small and not really comfortable for spending the whole day on the beach. If you stay here you may want to rent these items if you want to stay on the beach all day. All in all, a great cute spot with a beautiful view!

Perfect getaway

Guest Cottage was the perfect retreat for a September beach getaway! Loved the first floor property that opened up to a grassy area and provided direct access to the beach and pool. The condo was tastefully furnished and very clean!

Mostly Wonderful!

It was beautifully decorated, clean, love the location & ground floor. Very well accommodated & supplied well! Cozy & relaxing. However, the refrigerator broke during our first night & we didn’t know it. Our food in the freezer all defrosted. We called & they told us they had gases it up & thought it would last longer. They said they couldn’t get a new one until the next week. They brought us a huge cooler into put our food & regased the refrigerator again. It worked better, however this was inconvenient. If they were having trouble with the frig, I wished they would have made provisions to have a new one brought in before we arrived. Also, the gates from the beach access & street going into the pool are never locked, so we had a lot of people walking up from the beach & from the parking lot, to use our facilities we are paying for. A huge truck of teenagers came up into the parking lot, all going into the pool & I asked if they were staying here & they answered yes…with their Aunt upstairs. When I questioned them further & told them I could go find out…they left. I wish the property owners would use the locks to keep so many out that are not paying & would make it nicer for the ones that are paying. Also, on the access from the beach, they turn off all the water on the dock, so when you are coming up from the beach, there is no place to wash off. You should always wash off before going inside, sand clogs drains & gets into the house…we didn’t have a vaccum either!
