Perfect Amelia Island stay

ThIs property is immaculately clean, well furnished, and has a lot of space. 8 minute walk or 2-3 minute bike ride to the beach. Would be very likely to rent this unit again when we return to Amelia Island Plantation in years to come.

Great Property

Second time staying and this house, and really enjoyed the visit. Kitchen is very well stocked, which is helpful for cooking. Property is very quiet and located very close to the beach.

Ok - Other than insect problem

Biggest issue was the house was overrun with insects. Fire ants, spiders, a few roaches. Had to call for pest control to come out but they need to do a better job with this. We cut our stay short by a day.

Perfection!!

This condo is beautiful, clean and well appointed! The walk to the beach is short and easy. The beaches are not crowded, as well as family and dog friendly. We highly recommend a trip to Amelia and this condo.

Good stay on Amelia !

At first we thought there wouldn’t be much of an area to walk our 2 Boston Terriers around the Lagoon Villa area, but we quickly found there are many walking paths around the plantation and we were thrilled to find a path to the ocean that was only about a 10 minute walk & this area of the beach was never very crowded. The villa itself is very nice - just as pictured. A very well equipped kitchen, great Sony large TV in the main area, nice sitting room at the back on the villa, and a huge master bedroom. We hope to return there again & highly recommend this villa and Destination Amelia.

Perfect Getaway during the Amelia Island Car Auctions

My husband and I stayed at Lagoon Villas during this year’s Amelia Island car auction weekend. The villa was a perfect escape from the crowds at the Ritz. The location of the villa is within the Omni Plantation property which is a gated property, so safety was not a concern at all. It is within walking distance to the Omni hotel, which was great, as we walked to dinner one night and drinks at the bar both nights. The other night, we ate at another restaurant on the property which was just ok. We had originally planned to eat in historic Fernandina Beach, but after driving to town during the day, we realized it was just way too far to have dinner and a few cocktails, so we changed our reservation to a restaurant within the property. There are very few restaurant options near the Omni Plantation, so cooking in might be a better idea that going out. There is a great grocery store a quick car ride away. The villa itself was great for our weekend. It was eclectically decorated with a lot of color and vintage pieces. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked. The living area was cozy and comfortable, and since we were too far from any nightlife, we found ourselves staying in and watching movies each night. The master bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable. The master had its own bathroom which was clean but quite small. We did not use the second bedroom, but it had 2 queen (or full) sized beds and was connected to a second full bathroom with a tub. The weekend was chilly, so we did not walk to the beach or spend any time outside on the back patio. Parking for one car was right outside the front door. We did not have any reason to reach out to Destination Amelia, but the whole process was smooth and response time was almost immediate. Overall, I would recommend this villa as long as you have a car and understand that restaurants and nightlife are not within walking distance.

CORNBREAD!!!

Cornbread made my day every day! This little villa is absolutely adorable! It’s well stocked and adorably appointed. The only thing we wanted...was a few more days on Amelia! Having owned and rented here on Amelia for 5 years, I can honestly say GREAT job to the owners of villa and staff at Amelia Destination! Definitely would recommend this property and would stay here again!!

Tropical paradise

Wonderful villa! Even better than the pics online. The walkway to the beach was beautiful..... boardwalks and paved paths through tropical greenery. Great beach and very few people since it was late August. We would return here in a heartbeat!

Large and comfortable, great location

Condo was clean and relatively well cared for. Comphy furniture, well stocked kitchen. Two issues, we assumed the park behind the unit would be a good place to walk the dogs, but they didn't want to go out there because of the ants. The back yard was unusable for the same reason. We also ran across a number of roaches inside. The place would be super if those issues were addressed. Great location, lots of walking paths, but limited beach access. When you got to the beach, however, you had it to yourself

Wonderfully updated condo with a great location on the Plantation property. Love the fact that it is per friendly. Always appreciate when an owner allows our dog to join us on vacation!

Amazing

The property was amazing, the pictures on line do not do justice for how it actually looks and how you feel when you walk in. The property had everything you need. The beach cart was there just like the other reviews had mentioned. Our family loved the property and the plantation, there was tons of things to do with our 5 year old. Tons of walking trails, golf carts, put-put, finding shark teeth was one of our favorites lol. But there is also a lot to see outside the plantation, don’t be scared and miss out on all the history Amelia island has to offer, the downtown stops in the historic area are great, the old light house, and of course fort clinch.

It was perfect!

Spacious condo 5 minutes from the surf

We were very pleased with the Lagoon Villa. It was a short walk to the beach with everything we needed to make our weekend easy and relaxing. The space was spotless and the kitchen area featured top of the line appliances. The beach cart and chairs provided helped with our trip packing. We would love to come again!

Nicest Vacation Home We've Rented

This home felt like it was our own. One of the smartest floor plans, beautifully decorated to our own taste, well maintained, and all without stairs! There was nothing that we needed that wasn't on the property. The beach was fantastic and just a short walk down a paved, shaded path - we walked every morning. We had a wonderful time and would return to this property next time we visit Amelia Island.
