"The Grain store was perfect for our stay. The access to the Red Squirrel trail was a real bonus for dog walking. Ideal location for getting out and about and very comfortable accommodation. The Peacock wandering around was a surprise! "

"A fantastic, roomy property in a beautiful rural setting. Sally was really helpful at check-in as the postcode doesn't quite match the location and tricky to locate in the dark! The property is furnished very tastefully and equipped to a high standard too. TV, bed and shower all very good. A few handy welcome gifts too including, tea, coffee, biscuits and washing up things - thanks! Would definitely recommend."

"A lovely spacious house. Very convenient to the town and sea front. Dan was a brilliant host and provided us with loads of provisions. Also gave a useful tour of the house and even lit the log fire for us on arrival. We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely come again."

"I’ve stayed at many properties, and this one is good to look at as it is so old, but the comfort is not so good. The house is ideal as being so close to the manor. We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding, with my sister's husband upstairs and my family downstairs, The problems I had were the side gate open, and the shower not easy to use. "The chalet was really nice with new and modern decorations. Sufficient of cookware and kitchen utensils. The location was perfect for the nearby beaches and local shops. The only downside was about the amount of toiletries. We had 4 people staying for 3 nights, but there were only 2 toilet rolls and tester-sized shampoo and shower gel. "

The house is really beautifully kept, and makes the most of its relatively compact size. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. No parking outside (exactly as described in the property listing) but I was always able to park on a nearby road within a 1-2 minute walk maximum.
