"It was a large well presented building. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had 2 suites which were very spacious and comfortable. It was quiet. We enjoyed the bar snacks, which offered a good size portion. The breakfast was a good choice and very nice. It was help yourself, but there were also specials to order. There was plenty of parking on site. It was convenient location close to the town centre and the beach, plus the loop bus stop was right outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

"The continental breakfast was lovely. The evening meal we booked was delicious and as it was Friday we had a live band . Unfortunately their groupies came and hogged the dance floor all night. The room was nicely decorated and we had a sea view. the location is not good, on a steep hill with only a bus hourly."

"Southcliff has a great location high above the beach. I got a great view of a massive thunderstorm over France. It also has a smallish lift (elevator) to all floors. My ensuite bathroom room was small but adequate. The window was difficult to open (and keep open). Two electrical outlets are not enough in the 21st century."

It was enough for one night and the price was right, but I likely wouldn't return. We had problems with the WC.
