"Excellent hotel. Everything is well laid out and perfectly furnished from the elegant bathrooms to the welcoming rooms. Even the stairs are perfect with their quality wooden flooring. The whole building has a good feel to it.
All the staff were superb. Warm, welcoming and helpful.
The voucher for a cocktail in the basement bar was a delightful surprise. The basement bar with its Saturday DJ may be catering for the younger generation, but it was great fun, even for us with only few grey hairs...
"The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals.
Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland.
Our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely return.

"We stayed for 2 nights in the triple room and had the best time. Firstly the location is FAB! You couldn't get any closer to the beach. The room was comfy with a great sized bathroom. Lovely tea/coffee facilities in the room. The hotel staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were celebrating my mums birthday and they decorated the room with a banner and we had a drinks voucher for the bar which was a lovely touch. The breakfast each day was perfect. "This hotel is a characterful gem. Relaxed vibe. The guy running the hotel is very friendly and if you have any issue or request you can whatsapp him rather than going to reception, which I found super convenient. I wish more hotels did that! Tip: Buy bottled water for drinking as hot water mixes in with the cold tap. "

"Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room.
This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home.
I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered.
The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable.
The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it.
We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...
