"Disappointing stay (Joss room) which was a shame as location was perfect for me. Shower was broken, was offered communal shower but on close inspection I decided not to use. Blind in room doesn’t close properly, lots of light coming in, very noisy fountain out front which you can still hear with windows closed. Very poor Wi-Fi. Pub itself was lovely, staff friendly, no food on Mondays though."

"I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the Twentieth Century B&B. I stayed at the David Bowie room. Everything was an original item from the 70s, including the bed, coat hanger, chair, etc. The room was lovely decorated with the theme, and the best thing was the bathroom. The bathtub was oh.so.perfect! And they even provide you with a bath bomb if you request 💗 The area was very quiet and I slept really well. The B&B was within walking distance of the beach. "The Doghouse is a great place to stay. Owners have thought of everything to make it so comfortable and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, really comfy bed and all absolutely spotless. Great base for visiting Kent coast. Parking in street, we managed to park close by each day. Surrounding area and properties appeared run down in places but would definitely recommend staying at The Doghouse"

"The room was tiny, as were the corridors, the walls are very thin so could hear people talking and using taps in neighbouring rooms. Breakfast is also pretty basic and the local area doesn’t feel massively safe, especially as a woman walking alone at night. The owner was lovely and really helpful though."

"Bright and cosy stay in a one bed flat in a small terraced house. Lively high ceilings and view to the sea through the baw windows. It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate.
