Awesome beach condo

From the moment we walked through the door to when we left we were amazed with this condo. Perfect location, clean and very comfortable.

The condo is decorated very lovely just like the pics! Incredible location in Wild Dunes.. and check in was super easy! Highly recommend.

Great location for a getaway

The views from this property are amazing. Plenty of room for our family. The unit itself has some basics that need replaced in order to maintain this price point.

My sister had a fall the first night and ended up in the ER. That limited our activities, and increased our appreciation of the incredible view! Apartment was lovely, we-equipped and comfortable.

Home away from home.

The place looked like it was freshly painted. Super clean. And most importantly, no bugs! Appliances looked new, beds were comfortable, and bathrooms looked remodeled. I have stayed at a few high end hotels that weren't as nice as this. Beachside vacations, the property management company, were extremely efficient at check-in. They were timely in sending out the passcode for entry. Would stay here again.

Great oceanfront location

Minor maintenance issues (broken HDMI cable, missing remote for DVD player) did not detract from the excellence of this rental experience - oceanfront, generous kitchen and bedrooms, good Wifi, clean and comfortable, easy access, etc. A great stay.

Great location but the unit needs a bit of a refresh...

The location was great! The unit was okay (great views, proximity to the beach, and awesome pool) but the rooms were showing their age... The bathrooms really need an upgrade! We had maintenance over mid week to fix one of the toilets which really should have been taken care of before we got there. The ice-maker didn't work, which was really inconvenient!!!! The dishwasher was difficult to operate and one of the stovetop burners also didn't work. It's all the little things that add up... Again, the location was great but the unit was a bit lacking...

EXCELLENT!!!!

We absolutely loved our time at Shipwatch 401A!!!! The apartment was exactly as advertised!!! The photos don't do it justice!! We loved everything about it. It's proximity to the beach, the space, the provisions, the perks, all of it was exactly what we wanted and needed!! We highly recommend this condo!!! Stay here, you won't reget it!!!

Needs Work

Great ocean view and roomy, but needs some work and updating. Sofas are very dirty and need cleaning or replacing. Floors were not thoroughly vacuumed. Cable tv upstairs in guest room still not working properly after repair request. Freezer not working properly melting our gelato. WiFi not consistent. Guest tub upstairs doesn’t drain.

Family vacation

Great overall stay. We had 6 adults and an infant and the condo was perfect for our group. Love the beach view, nice pools of Shipwatch and the great biking, walking, and tennis availability of Wild Dunes. Like being close to Charleston and the historic sites.

Great beach condo

3 couples rented this for a week. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We also did not share our bathrooms; everyone had their privacy. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked! We cooked breakfast daily and most dinners. It was awesome. The view from the beach facing balconies was wonderful. You can watch the sun rise while being serenaded by the birds and the waves. Perfect place for morning coffee. AND, the noise ordinance is great because it's quiet in the morning!! The downstairs bed was not that comfortable but the two upstairs beds were great. Plenty of room in the rooms too. We would definitely rent here again if we come back.

Sunrises on the Beach

Enjoyed our stay at this property. The management staff was very informative. Truly enjoyed our stay here with the sound of the ocean each morning and evening. Quiet and uncrowded beach, with easy access to the city of Charleston.

Great location!

Property wasn’t as impressive in person as pictures showed. Needs some paint and other small items like bolting down the toilet in the master bath so it doesn’t rock when sat on. But it was clean, comfortable, and one of the best locations we’ve stayed at. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, etc. If we were to need another 3 bedroom ocean front condo to rent for a week, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We had a great week on Wild Dunes!

Great location

Love the location of this waterfront condo. It had ample space and was clean upon arrival. Needs some wear and tear maintenance including painting, new sofas, updates in bathrooms. This did work well as a home base for our activities.

Shipwatch

A good location with short walk to the beach. Beach is wide and a good place to walk. Condo was clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Although we are all adults, it is a good place for children with swings and a play area.

Beautiful location

Very comfortable condo. The beds were heavenly. Kitchen had everything we needed. If I had some advice for the owners it would be to update the interior. The carpet needs to be replaced and the interior could use a refresher.

Great getaway!

This condo was the perfect getaway for my family! It was easy to check in, the bikes and beach chairs were there on arrival, and we went straight to enjoying our vacation. Couldn't have been easier!

Should be better

Beautiful location, perfect views. Interior needs fine tuned. 2 different areas of hardwood flooring missing, shower door not installed properly, mildew or mold on ceiling and above shower marble on sheet rock. Curtains on sliding glass doors don’t cover completely. Furniture needs a good cleaning.

Nice place

We had a great time while there. Proximity to the pool and beach were great! Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Loved that the kids room was upstairs near the master so they were close to us. I would stay there again!!!
