This property is absolutely lovely and very clean. The property management team was attentive, communicative, and very nice. We did however have a couple issues that were never fully taken care of. The TVs in the bedrooms did not work; management sent maintenance same day, however they never returned to fix the issue. The gas grills were out of propane and needed new flavorizer bars and grates - grilling was quite dangerous as drippings had nothing to catch on and caused major flare ups. And finally the many signage inconsistencies especially with trash days and quiet hours. The app, the paperwork within the house, and what was sent via the property management team all showed different times, hours and days, so it made it difficult to abide by rules that had potential fine repercussions. With all of that said, we had a fantastic time, even cancelled all “dinner out” plans to stay in and cook because spending time in the house with our company was such a better experience!

Vacation before back to school

My three kids, wife, and I stayed at the house. Plenty of space with 6 bedrooms. Pool and Hot tub a plus. We rented golf carts and could ride to the Marina to eat. We brought our boat and kept at the marina as well. You can drive the golf cart to different eating places as well about a mile down the street.

We’ve stayed at Happy Place 4 times now. Location hard to beat. Amenities are as advertised. Response of property management to deal with a couple minor issues was timely and successful.

Great location and space is ample for everyone to have their own space

Came for Spring Break. The home is in a great location and perfect for the teenagers to be able to get around on bikes. The rooms house was clean and everything was clearly labeled. Our big issue was the pool and hot tub. The hot tub heated up only twice and we paid for the pool to be heated and although they property company sent service multiple times it never did work. The property management team was very responsive and tried to fix it. Confirm it is all working before paying for this service.

Great house !

This house was awesome for ourselves and our two children and their children. Three under 4. Park is close by and beach is right across the street. We had minor issues that were taken care of right away by Beachside Vacations. Great property management company! Pool and spa were under construction ( no work during our stay) but that was fine as the house met all our other needs. Needs a little TLC with paint touch ups and bathroom woodwork but again, no major issues. Would definitely recommend!

Not so Happy Place

Elevator didn’t work, arcade game broken, pool was cloudy, outside was dirty, whole house needed to be power washed, moldy air registers, hvac filters hadn’t been changed for a very long time. Some Bathrooms need updating. Several exterior landscape lights broken. The layout of the house is fine and probably once was a very nice house but clearly not taken care of and needs updating and repair. Our family rented another cottage down the street for the same price and was in far better shape. Sorry to say this house is not worth the money paid. Made us not so happy being at the “happy place”.

Location is great. House needs some updates. Grounds are kept just ok. Pool tile was missing tile which was replaced during our stay. Not much to work with in the kitchen. Lots of things but not very useful. Basic essentials.

So comfortable and relaxing

Beautiful, spacious home- Even better than the pictures. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. The porches are amazing- on every level and from many bedrooms. The master bedroom was a sanctuary- bed is very comfortable and bathroom very spacious. The outdoor living was also top notch- we used the hot tub almost everyday for the 2 weeks we were there. And the fully fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Location was 1-2 min walk to the beach. Would highly recommend and wound definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Nice but....

We liked the property overall but a few things just didn't sit right with us. The trash cans were full when we got there and it took 2 days, 3 texts and a in-person visit to the mgt office to get this taken care of. Also, there is visable mold on the door of the top floor elevator, Ice maker was completely frozen, like a waterfall was inside.

Happy times at The Happy Place!

Our stay was wonderful, choosing between the pool or the beach! Tough choices! Beautiful open concept with plenty of king size beds for couples. We all loved the black out curtains, especially with little ones. Beachside Vacations was very responsive to any problems we might have had. Family friendly and neighborhood community center with playground just a few blocks away!

Isle of Palms Getaway

We were looking for a place for 4 couples. It's the first time we traveled together so we wanted to make sure everyone had a nice room and space to spread out. And we found it - great pool and hot tub area outside, rooftop deck to see the ocean, huge dining table to eat and play games and other nooks for someone to go if they wanted some time to themselves. The place was clean, and had all of the necessities. Wonderful spot just across the street from the ocean. Great place!
