"When we arrived to the hotel, they informed us there was a storm and they lost power. That is understandable, however they provided no alternative or directions on where we could sleep that night. They only said they were closed and couldn't support or help us in any way. We had driven 3 hours from Edimburgh and had to find another hotel in the middle of the night with very limit knowledge of the area and very poor international phone internet, sitting in a parking lot. We even saw seals and otters out the window while enjoying a little scotch and were able to sleep so well!! Additionally, the owners were so sweet!!
