Great place right in the heart of Oban. 2 minute walk to Oban Distillery. The whisky bar downstairs was really fun and convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Perfect spot in Oban. Steps away frm Oban Distillery and the waterfront. The hotel itself is behind and above a beer garden and whisky bar w over 300 whiskys on their wall to try!! Staff was great and helpful. Beds king size and comfortable.

The bar downstairs was amazing - huge selection of whiskies and the knowledge to go with that. Also open mic night with lovely Scottish ballads and good music other nights.

If you're looking for a unique unpretentious above a bar experience, this is an awesome place. A good mix of local and traveling crowd downstairs, very casual, relaxed setting, while upstairs, possibly the smallest functional room I've ever stayed in, but it worked perfectly for two, and a lifetime of stories to follow!

Quirky little hotel right in Oban. Staff are wonderful. Carpet etc a little tired and stairs can be a challenge. Some rooms have sloped ceiling in the bathroom which is a little awkward. All in all it was good but priced in a way that we expected more. Parking is at public parking lot a few hundred feet away. Super convenient to walk around Oban. Oban sits below a cliff so any hotels "with a view" will require much climbing.

Comfortable bed, clean room. Room very small and had to crab around. Room overlooked kitchen extraction fan filling the room with frying smells. Booking in was difficult through the main door and had to check in though the bar at the back. Ok once we found the bar.

Had a lovely stay! In our minds an authentic scottish vibe with cosy rooms! Bed was comfy and it was great with the little bag you got upon arrival with a few items for the morning (cereal bar, apple and water). Enjoyed the bar and Oban overall!

The rooms are above the pub which make for a great time. The room and bathroom are nice and clean. The staff was really nice. Highly recommend!

If you love whisky or not this is the place to stay. The outside appearance does not do this accommodation justice. A very clean and comfortable room, if small ( we were in room 7). The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The bar staff have excellent whisky knowledge. The bar food was also very good. We would definitely stay again.

It's a boutique hotel in an old building so access up the central stairway could prove an issue if you have a mobility issue. It has a popular bar for locals and traditional Scottish musicians play plus they do whisky tastings. I enjoyed staying there. Parking is straight forward in the council car park on Tweeddale Street right opposite the property. You can pay for your whole stay period on the app and it's very reasonable.

Cool quirky place with an awesome whisky bar we did the whisky tasting event. The host to the event was great Scottish story telling singing playing fiddle and guitar and tasting 5 great whiskies good fun. Cheers Dan and Kelly Canada
