"A great home base for my family’s trip to Iceland, this property had great proximity to the Golden Circle. We saw a number of sites, did some fantastic hikes, visited the Secret Lagoon, and it was nice to have a home base to come back to each evening. We ate out a good bit, but also made coffee/breakfast at the home each morning and cooked a few other meals at the cabin as well. Everyone slept well, and we enjoyed the property immensely. "This is a lovely property - very quiet and peaceful. The small cottage is nicely self-contained but has most everything you could need for basic self-catering. Big lovely windows to let in lots of natural light and for stargazing. Everything was in very great shape. we enjoyed having this as our base to explore the peninsula."

"Incredible location, new, clean and comfortable place to stay. The host was great at communicating. We had problems getting the gate opener but eventually were able to get in. The only improvement would be to have more towels available. We will definitely stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was conveniently located and what a stunning setting and view! Our host (Karl) was very responsive and kind. The place was well stocked with spices and such for cooking, too. The only warning I’d give is that the metal bedside lamps get HOT! My teen son accidentally burned his arm on his as he reached past to plug something in. When I checked things, the whole lamp was super hot. "Easily one of the best rentals we've had through VRBO. Owner was in communication very early through the process, provided access information well in advance (which is great because there have been times I've had to call owners to get access when I'm sitting at the property), and the location provided easy access to the West and Southern areas of Iceland. Well it was just my wife and I, the place was more spacious than I expected, and two couples or a couple with children could easily stay here...
