"Room was spotless with complete modern kitchen and bath. Nice short walk to the beach! Only issue I had was upstairs neighbors were beyond loud!! Asked for help because got woken up at 4am and 630am with kids running, jumping, and lord knows what else was going on up there. If I was to stay again I would get a 3rd floor to avoid this."

"This was one of our best trips to the NC coast. The location of this rental was perfect for us. The home was bright and smelled clean upon arrival. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Easy access to the home, and being able to unload vehicles under a covering was much appreciated, as it rained a few times during our stay. We only stayed 3 nights, but will definitely be back. Highly recommend. "

"Steps to the Sea was a great house for our family vacation. The house is beautifully updated/decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. And the beach was great and not crowded!! Michelle was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions both during booking and our stay. We would definitely stay at Steps to the Sea again!"

"We enjoyed staying on the property. It had a beautiful, oceanfront view. We came to town for a wedding, and it was the perfect place for us to stay for the weekend. The bathroom was a little small for us, but other than that, it was great! "

"This property was great! Very convenient, right on the beach, and the area was not crowded. Be aware that this is a duplex, which means that you will have next door neighbors out on the balcony next to you, and you will need to share the parking area. Overall, a great beach vacation rental! Easy check-in and check-out procedures. "

"We had the best week staying here with our 2 year old and dog. Proximity to the beach couldn’t be beat and the house was very comfortable. We would absolutely love to stay at the same location in the future!"

"There were 7 of us and two dogs. This house was wonderful. The two floor setup was great. My husband loved the "crows nest" couch overlooking the beach and living area. The elevator was so helpful for my 80 year old Mom, as well as packing and groceries. The view from the deck and the few steps to the beach were glorious!!"

"The property was gorgeous and the location is great just steps off the beach. Hot tubs were great, lovely gazebo to have meals beachside. Very swift communication from owners, our first night there was a beeping from the elevator and a technician had it fixed by 9am the next day. We hope to stay again!"

"This is a great place to stay. It was our first time at Topsail Island and the house is in a perfect location, away from all of the traffic and noise, but close to everything you need. We will be recommending to our friends and my family already wants me to book for next year. "The home was perfect! Very quiet area on the island but also very convenient to town. The view is spectacular too. We loved sitting on the porch and taking it all in each day. The home was exactly as described in the listing. Easy check in, check out. We had all the things we needed from making meals to cocktails. "Everything was great. This property was so well appointed, all the dishes and appliances you could possibly need, linens, beach chairs and boogie boards. It was all great. Only gave a 3 for communication because the contact was in an area with spotty service and it sometimes took several hours to reply if we had a question. But she was always helpful and everything was great. "

"Was an amazing property !!!! Snoozing to ocean waves all night long. !!!! So much fun in the sun attending the pools Sunday fun day and the amazing beach. "
