"This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!"

"We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy lakefront home. It was the perfect size for just the two of us—small, but comfortable and just what we needed. Everything was very clean and well-kept, and the owner was excellent with communication, making everything simple and stress-free. Our favorite part was spending time on the deck looking right out over the lake, enjoying the peaceful views and watching the three loons that hung around nearby. Such a special and relaxing spot."

"Beautiful Maine home with fantastic views. We enjoyed our stay and spent time kayaking direct from the property, swimming in the nearby quarry and at the beach, and relaxing dinners on the deck. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and house was very clean on arrival. Would stay again. "

"Cove Cottage turned out to be a terrific extension location for our mini family reunion. We have a house in the area, but had more people coming than we could accommodate. Cove Cottage was perfectly located and its being right on the water made it irresistible. We showed up to a clean house, with everything that was advertised — from both bath and beach towels for everyone, to bedding, to the well equipped kitchen. The second refrigerator in the garage was a useful bonus that accommodated our...

"The cottage is in a great location. It's small but has plenty to offer. There were four of us that stayed for four nights and we had plenty of room. "

"We love this cottage and have reserved it again for next summer. Suggestions: (1) The shrubs in front just below the steps really need to be trimmed way back, 4 feet would be about right. It is obstructing the view. (2) same for the tree at the bottom of the lot closest to the water. (3) The Shrubs near the window by the master bedroom have become so over grown, we could not close the window from inside!"
