"The house and grounds were very private. located overlooking a quiet lake. Although neighboring houses were in reasonably close proximity, the area was very quiet. The house was well stocked and comfortable for the two of us.. Opportunity was available for both indoor and outdoor dining. Bugs were at a minimum, Shhh!.We spent time exploring Hosmer Pond each day. Only occasional other boaters were on the lake. only small motors were allowed, so the noise was at a minimum.Check out the toboggan...

"The loft was very cozy and perfect for a couples getaway. Well appointed, very clean and the bed was so big and comfortable with beautiful views of the cove. Alex and Siobhan were attentive hosts. We were close to Camden, Rockport and Rockland. Great dining choices and beautiful lighthouses as well as various art galleries. We would definitely return again. "

"This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!"

"Clean, comfortable, even"extra" bonuses not in description like an adjustable bed and a queen-sized air mattress with bedding. Well equipped. Very close to Drift In Beach parking. The house is on a curve and you need to take caution pulling out though it is doable--if the neighbor on the Tenant's Harbor side would trim back bushes, it would no longer be an issue. Quiet, relaxed and convenient location."

"What a great place to stay and area to explore. A great time was had. Listing and reviews were accurate. Highly recommend Primo restaurant in Rockland and Mcloons lobster shack. The cottage was great. Only negative I can think of is the amount of hot water in the shower which we knew going in thanks to reviews. Would definitely utilize this space again. "

"This was our second day at this property and it was just as lovely as the first. The wonderful hosts bring an artist's eye to everything they do. They are also thoughtful enough to make sure that there’s are extra toothbrushes or razors or other necessities you may have forgotten. "Pasamos una noche de Camino a Bar Harbour. La habitación es amplia con camas cómodas y firmes. Amenities en el baño. El desayuno es correcto con fruta, lácteos, cereales y salchichas. El parking es gratuito y si have bueno encienden el fuego en el jardín para hacer s'mores. Muy amables"
