Perfect location, nice condo
Nice, modern condo with resort amenities. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Management and cleaning service were excellent, thorough and attentive. Loved walking to the restaurants. Only one complaint- smell coming from guest bathroom toilet. We left the door closed and fan running to help alleviate the smell. if that issue can be addressed, the condo is perfect!

Absolutely amazing and beautiful!!!!!
Can’t wait to go back!! I love the place and area. Best beach ever!! Place was clean and perfect! The two beds were hard but that’s the only bad. Other room bed was so soft! Everyone that works there are so nice! This place was a dream!

Great stay
Our family stayed in this condo for a second time. It was modern and very clean. Perfect central location, we could walk almost anywhere we needed to go. Easy to get a taxi close by if needed. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay again and again!

Friends trip
Property was beautiful and just as pictured. The view of the beach was amazing. Kalak restaurant was delicious and I ate the guacamole everyday and the Kalak staff for the beach was awesome. Highly recommend this unit for your stay. Our housekeeper was great also and did a wonderful job.

Amazing place- hassle free!
Excellent long weekend on Playa Norte! Property manager was super easy to work with. Excellent service and everything was exactly as described. Recommend Isla Fun Tours as a private taxi with full found trip pick up and drop off from CUN. We will definitely stay at this property again. Ricardo, our taxi driver, took us for a “bar hopping” tour around the island. The Joint is a must see with live music. Elvis was in the building. No shortage of excellent restaurants. Isla Mujeres is a great place to visit!

Great location
Perfect location right in North Beach with plenty of restaurants, bars, stores just a few minute walk away. The beach was pretty and had chairs / umbrellas set up that we could use. The property also had a bar and restaurant you could use to order drinks by the pool or on the beach. Chema was great and answered any questions we had immediately.

Wonderful!
I hesitate to let everyone know how great this condo was, because I want to be able to book it over and over again in the future. Our group consisted of 4 adults (2 couples). The floor plan was perfect, as the beds and baths were very separate and on opposite sides of the condo allowing for maximum privacy. The location could not be better since it is located on north beach and walkable to everything. We are already planning our return.

We loved our 7 nights at this beautiful condo! Check in was smooth, our housekeeper was the best ever, and the location was perfect. You have the beach on one side with stunning views, and Hidalgo street loaded with shops and eateries on the other side. If you want to stay close to Centro, not spend all your money on accommodations, but have a killer place to stay, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! We’ll definitely be back!!!

Treatment of the Ixchel
This unit is owned by an owner who does not have a good relationship with the Ixchel, therefore you cannot sit on a certain side of the beach or receive any help whatsoever from the front desk with things like changing money or towels or lost wristbands. The Ixchel does not care for the guests of this condo at all which made it very awkward. Although the host of the owner was very helpful, I would not stay in this condo again due to the way the Ixchel treats guests of this condo.

Treated as second class hotel guest by Ixchel staff
The property, the suite, is actually great, clean, comfy beds, wifi was slow but that is probably true for the whole hotel. Our problem was with Ixchel and Mundaca/Evolve/VRBO. Since this property is managed by Mundaca in Isla Mujeres, the hotel front office treats you like you awfully. You have a different wrist band than "regular" hotel guest, and you are told you can't use the other heated pool, you have issues paying for services as you can't charge to your room, getting beach chairs was an issue, among other hassles. One late night my wife went to ask for a blanket and they refused to help her, they said "call your manager at Mundaca." This one hotel staffer, Elias, went out of his way to make me, my wife, and my kids feel unwelcome at the Hotel property. Its a shame because the hotel, the rooms, the facilities and location are great but being treated as second class hotel guests really put a cloud over our whole vacation. My suggestion would be that if you do want to stay here, book through the hotel and you can avoid some of these problems. The front office at Ixchel are still a bunch of ball busters but at least you will have the right wrist band on, so you avoid some of the rudeness we experienced.

This is an excellent location and property for my age group in particular- I am 58 The only and I mean only poor experience is the less than clean (nasty really) walk from Hildalgo to the property’s lobby entrance

Wonderful
Andrea was wonderful to book through and her property was just perfect. The setup worked perfectly for our family of 5, including three young kids. It was never overly crowded and it was in the perfect location. The house was beautifully clean and the maid service was top notch. Check in and out was seamless and everybody was so kind and accommodating. Very, very well stocked kitchen. Would return in a heartbeat.

Large condo in great location
Large, clean, well-kept condo in a great North Beach location. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. We were there for New Years' week and the beach was very noisy and crowded. I hear its much more relaxed at other times.

THE VERY BEST OF ILSA MUJERES!
WOW! Is what we have to say about our stay @ Centro - Supmza! All communication prior to our arrival was perfect. Once there, we met Kate who was wonderful. Upon getting into the condo...again, WOW! The kitchen has been freshly remodeled and is a wonderful functional space. The layout of the 2 bedroom unit provides privacy and comfort. The patio has a lovely view of the grounds and ocean. The daily housekeeping was implacable. There is a laundromat right around the corner. For a very reasonable rate they will wash and dry a bag of laundry for you in within a few hours. We would stay again for sure and literally have nothing negative to say about this beautiful condo.

Perfect!
This wasn't our first time staying at Ixchel but it was our first time staying in 401/402. Check in and checkout process was seamless. The condo was gorgeous, big, well stocked and super clean. Having a door code instead of room keys was a huge help with teenagers being able to come in and out as needed and not misplacing them. The location is perfect access to Hidalgo. We would most definitely rent this room again.

Beautiful week in paradise!
We traveled to Isla with our 3 teenagers. The condo is beautiful as pictured. We had zero problems with our stay. The beach crew is wonderful. Find Roger at the Tarzan restaurant on the beach to the right and he will give you beach service for your entire stay. Housekeeping was very thorough each day. The beds were super comfortable. The Netflix was a great bonus for the teens. We walked to the hotel from the condo but you can easily take a taxi for 60 pesos. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk the downtown area for all the eating and shopping that you would ever need. We did rent a golf cart for a day and traveled the island. We all agreed that we would stay in this condo again if we returned.

You will love it here!
This property is located in the perfect spot! It was our second time staying in this unit and we would rent it again! Easy access to the beautiful Playa Norte and Hidalgo St. but still tucked away and very quiet. Great ocean views, huge patio and the unit is very clean with everything you need to make it your temporary home. The elevator is a plus because we have stayed places on upper levels without one and it’s so much easier to load in groceries and luggage, not only that but much safer. The Ixchel staff keeps a great eye on the property and we always feel safe here. A huge thanks to Kate and the Mundaca staff for always being very accommodating and so friendly. We will be back soon!

Comfortable condo on a nice sandy rock-free beach
Comfortable condo on a nice sandy rock-free beach. However the beach can get crowded with locals and other tourists from different areas. The northern and western parts of the Caribbean islands get little to no seaweed. We did see a little seaweed on either side of the property on the last day but not directly in front of it as they did a good job of cleaning the beach every morning. Nothing like the mountains of seaweed on the mainland which faces east. As we are on a restricted diet, we brought frozen meat with us and cooked our own meals. There is a kosher place nearby that is vegan - only 4 items on the menu. We went on Saturday morning but it was closed for Sabbath and were told it will reopen after dark. Minor inconvenience which was annoying though: the toilet seat for the bathroom of the master bedroom seems to be a replacement and an incorrect size which was also fitted a little lopsided so it would tend to slide in to the commode and get stuck on the inside. Other than that, the condo was very nice.

Plenty of space for five of us and close to everything paradise!
Our family of five was very comfortable in the space we had a great mattresses. Bathrooms are spacious and balcony view is great. Access to Ixchel’s section of Playa Norte and pool were fantastic.

Beautiful condo beautiful location
Myself and 3 friends were in town to fish for a few days which We do every year. I usually book right thru hotel but they were sold out. I found this 2 bedroom condo on home away. Condo was very nice, clean and met all my expectations. Views are great from balcony. Check in and check out super easy. House keepers did excellent job. I would rent this condo again.

Great location and view
We were very happy with this rental overall. Spacious unit and well-stocked kitchen. The location and view can't be beat. Service was very good. The balcony is very large and tucked-in in a way that makes it more private than others. We liked that. Our only minor complaint would be the living room furniture which is rather worn and uncomfortable for sitting. The unit is spacious but limited in terms of upholstered seating. On the other hand, there is a lot of room for dining both inside and out so that is a plus. Overall rating is 4. It would be a 5 with better seating. Even so, we would definitely return to this unit.

Amazing location + great staff
We spent 10 days in Isla Mujeres with our two kids (5 and 2) and had a wonderful time. The property is very safe and clean. The location is perfect, situated between Playa Norte and the downtown/tourist area with lots of shops and restaurants. The bedrooms are very spacious (though maybe that's because we live in San Francisco). There was a decent sized kitchen, fully stocked with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes and cooking items.The staff was friendly, but Ernesto and the life guard on duty were exceptional. They both totally kept an eye on our kids and went out of their way to be helpful and personable. We had many amazing meals - Mango Cafe, North Garden, Lola Valentina, Rooster's, and Olivia's are highly recommended. Cha cha cha was also a nice venue with good wine and food and live music starting at 7:30 p.m. Only a couple of cons to the stay (and not really a big deal for us): we were initially told that someone would meet us at the ferry and that we could request (for a fee) that our refrigerator would be stocked if we provided a list ahead of time. Neither of those turned out to be true, so just be aware that you need to find your own way to Ixchel from the ferry. We were a little inconvenienced about the food part, as I definitely would have stopped in Cancun to at least pick up milk for my little ones for the morning (we got in fairly late so we weren't able to get anything that night). Also, the restaurant/bar at Ixchel doesn't accept credit cards, so you have to have cash for everything. Other than those minor inconveniences, the trip was amazing. The beach and pool were definitely the highlights!

Relaxing vacation with great accommodations!
This condo is just what we needed for a relaxing girls trip. It was clean, safe and steps from the beach and pool. With pool and beach food and drink service, we couldn't go wrong. Not only was is steps from the beach and pool, but it was a minutes walk to the Main Street with all the restaurants. I would definitely return to the charming, sleepy island of Island Mujeres and when I do, I will stay here again!

Every time is even better!
This lovely condo overlooks one of the best beaches on the planet. We used the beach and the pool, and took full advantage of all the neighborhood restaurants. Quiet, good AC, lots of space. Please note that there is a full kitchen, and for $50 (plus the cost of the food), the property managers will stock the whole thing. What a deal!

I will probably use another agency after seeing how my friend was treated.
We got there and felt like we were "told" to listen to instructions. Weird...made ya feel like we were in elementary school again. Then, the pull out couch was not made for humans. Had to pull the mattress out to the living room< from the spare bedroom, to meet our living arrangements. Emailed, called and wrote a note and did not get a reply. My husband wrote a note to the maids to make me a surprise birthday cake out of the towels, like my friend had gotten on her bday there, and they didn't do anything with our towels after the first day. Before the trip, my friend said their manager called them and ask what they would like their room stocked with. We ended up getting things through her manager for our room!!! The manager also took us out to eat on her birthday and had his assistant set up all of our excursions and personally made sure all of us had items we needed throughout the trip. Soooo, there is excellent service out there. It is just not through Home Away!!!

Couldn't have asked for a better vacation property!
First class on all levels! Well equipped unit with a gorgeous view of the pool and the ocean. Maid service was so professional and thorough. Beds are very comfortable and everything was well maintained. The nicest beach on the island as well with very nice staff and waiters. We will be returning for our next vacation for certain!

Feeling spoiled and relaxed
Between the beautiful view and the proximity to restaurants/shopping/everything, we felt completely spoiled during our time at Ixchel 401/402. And, you add to that the layout of the condo with the split bedrooms and separate baths, and it was ideal for both couples to feel relaxed and enjoy our time. Just a short walk past the pool, and you are on the beach with its wonderful white sand and amazing blue waters. Oh, and so very quickly, chairs are setup for you if needed plus an umbrella if you need some shade. The staff on the beach were so helpful and friendly - enjoyed getting to know several of them! The condo was very clean and well stocked - from the water to kitchen items if you feel like cooking. Admittedly, we didn't cook much, as there were just too many fun restaurants to try. The staff that came in daily to tidy up were terrific and kept the condo very comfortable for our stay. If we are lucky enough to return to the island, we'd love to stay here again.

Exceptional condo and staff
Absolutely beautiful, clean condo. Beds were nice and comfortable, shower pressure strong, overall spacious condo. The view was stunning of the ocean and beach. The staff at Ixchel was lovely, polite, and helpful, especially the cleaning staff, they were always cleaning and our room was superbly cleaned daily. The beach was also cleaned early each day, and it was the cleanest beach property on the island! I would love to come back next year, we are already dreaming of it!
