Disappointed. Main reason for choosing this Villa was for the location and the fact it listed a “gym”. Upon check in we asked gym hours and were told 7 am- 8 pm. My daughter was excited to work out the 2nd eve there (closed Sun). 10 mins into her workout was very rudely greeted by a staff member who told her to leave immediately. Reached out to owner & I was advised open gym hours are 11-4 (Most on vaca are off enjoying their day and working out early/ late). The owner apologized and said she could try a class “for free” but she didn’t really feel welcome to do that. She only got one gym day in. Also, the classes that were held in the evening BLASTED music / could hear whole class which we didn’t find enjoyable. In addition this place is VERY stark. Zero personal touch- no coffee ( for first morning even), no salt/ pepper/ a single cleaning supply/ no “games” that were in listing. We packed lightly so we could just bring carry-ons understanding there was a washer/ dryer in unit which we discovered was broken on the second day -and we reported to caretaker. Nothing was done until the afternoon before we left when he offered to do our laundry- at that point there was no point.Also, there was construction going on right next door which was incredibly LOUD all day which made enjoying the pool/ roof top etc unenjoyable. Positives- Bethsua ( caretaker) was great and glad to help how he could. Restaurant was fantastic for breakfast. Grounds immaculate. Would I stay again? No.

Get away with grand children

We invited our daughter and her two children for a six-day vacation at Mayakita Villa. The pool was an absolute favorite hang-out for our three- and five-year old grand children. The adjoining cafe was fabulous for breakfast and the Italian restaurant next door was a great place for the evening dinner.

Our family loved this property! Beautiful home and views. The property managers were so attentive and accommodating. Beth and Jimmy went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. We will hopefully be back soon!

Perfecto!

We stayed here for a vacation for 4 nights. There were 5 adults and we each had our own bed! there are 4 bathrooms and plenty of room. Super clean. One of the unexpected highlights was the restaurant right next door run by the same owner. We ate at the restaurant every morning for breakfast. I would book this place again for sure.

Family Fun!

This was my second time at the property and it was just as pleasant as the first with my girlfriends. The space is HUGE and everything was pristine. Any minor issue was resolved in minutes!

Perfect

We did rent all 3 places for 14 people it was an amazing vacation the houses worked perfect for our group, plenty of space and bathrooms. A little more description on them, as when looking at the pictures it gets confusing which is which. When you are looking from the pool to the house Villa 1 is farthest left, Villa 2 in the middle and Villa 3 is the two story on the right. Each house has 2 rooms that face the ocean and one set back. The pool and roof top are amazing. We used them nightly and are a great plus to have. We would all rent again!

Friend Getaway

Isla is a beautiful island and we have been here several times. This was our first time using VRBO instead of doing a hotel stay. There were 6 of us and the villa was as pictured. There was ample space for all 6 of us with a perfect balance of privacy and common area. Having private baths for each room was perfect! If you are used to taking long, hot showers, those will need to be space out accordingly as there is not an endless supply of hot water. The host was very responsive and the caretaker was friendly, responsive and most interested that all of our needs were met in a timely manner. There are 3 villas that share the pool and outdoor green space, but that did not prove to be an issue for us. Each villa has a private hot tub on the rooftop. The beach is steps away and you have unobstructed views of the ocean. There is plenty of space to park golf carts (we rented 2) and the location of the villa is perfect!! A nice walk to Punta Sur and an easy drive to North Beach. Wifi worked great.

Would definitely stay here again.

I would definitely stay here again if traveling with a group this size. There were 5 of us and it was perfect. Next time we will probably eat at DeNuccio's (which is right across the street) more than once. The house is located 5-10 minutes by golf cart from 2 of our favorite places, The Joint and Borracho Burro. Also, about 5-10 minutes to Punta Sur. We didn't use the hot tub because it was too hot outside, but the view from the roof is awesome. The pool was great. We didn't have any complaints at all. I highly recommend if you need 3 bedrooms. We also had another group of 5 from our group that stayed next door, and I didn't hear any complaints from them either.

Great place!

My girlfriends and I came to Isla for my 30th Birthday and this house fit our needs perfectly! The house is very spacious and the view of the ocean is amazing. The Italian Restaurant next door had some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I will stay here next time I am in town!

Love Isla Mujeres & Mayakaan house

Nicest people ever here- the hostess arranged for Bethsua to greet us The restaurant next door, DeNuccio’s, was like having our own Italian grandma downstairs. We stayed in Cozumel for 10 days before we got here to Isla- next year we will be staying right here in Isla Mujeres longer. Snorkeling & lunch with the guys at Isla Bonita tour shop was a highlight.

Amazing!

Beth was amazing! So helpful! The property is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. The location is outside of the central area yet we rented a golf cart and it worked well! Mangos Cafe and Olivia’s are a must!

Great Location

We loved the property and found the unit to be much larger and prettier than in the pictures. So much to see and do just a short golf cart drive away. Celcia, check-in and the onsite family were helpful and very pleasant. I will definitely be back!!

Wonderful

We found the home to be very spacious and met our needs well. We did find the main living area to be echoey and it encouraged us to repeat ourselves on occasion. This is a small concern that will change as decor is added (this is a new property). We look forward to coming back next year
