"In general the hotel is overpriced and quality doesn’t match the price you pay, specially in high season where prices are considerably more expensive.
The day of checkout you are advised to leave the room at 9:00AM the latest.
They don’t offer half or full board online and once which is weird because they do have a restaurant and offer a full board package on spot.
We paid for the full board with buffet service on spot but it didn’t include drinks nor coffee as they used to do before.
They have increased prices and reduced quality for the buffet. Not long time ago they offered free unlimited coffee and natural juices and water during the buffet service.
Amenities in the room have downgraded too. They used to have Loto del Sur but the amenities now aren’t as good. They don’t have body lotion anymore which is a pity in a remote island like Isla Múcura.
Before you board the boat to Isla Mucura, you have to pay some tax just to enter the island. Once you arrive in the island you are basically forced to pay a health insurance no matter if you already have one, but the worst part is that there is no functional infrastructure to provide health services in the islands which makes this health insurance basically a scam.
Most of the beach in the hotel is full of rocks which makes it uncomfortable to enjoy the water.
Victor Díaz from the restaurant was really attentive and helpful. He is the best in the hotel."
