" This cabin is in such a great location! Steps away from the water with kayaks, floats and paddle boards provided. We even saw a bald eagle soar across the ski while floating in front of the dock! The host Braden was extremely accommodating to us and promptly answered all the questions I had. "

"Beautiful setting on the water and a quaint little cottage with everything we needed. It was a little rustic but very comfortable!"

"Betty's Place was a great getaway for a long weekend. The views and ocean sounds from the deck can't be beat. We experienced an issue with the coffee maker, and David and the team responded right away and dropped off a replacement within about 30 minutes. We would consider coming back!"

"Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! "

"Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! "If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This cabin is an absolute gem — unique, eclectic, and perfectly curated for comfort and relaxation. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were stepping into a special space that someone had poured their heart into — and that someone is clearly Amy.The cabin was immaculately clean — not a speck of dust or smudge in sight. Every corner of the space was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. What really blew us away was how well-stocked it...

"Fantastic setting, quiet and serene but close to quaint town and shopping. This place is perfect! We had our 2 goldens with us and they loved it too. The shower is amazing. The view-perfect. Wonderful communication from the owners. I highly recommend this place. "

"The cabin is beautifully furnished, well stocked and very cozy. The waterfront views were beautiful and nice to look out at while playing cards or eating breakfast at the dining room table. We traveled during the day to visit friends and sight see as the time of year was too cold for water sports. During warm weather this is a spectacular property for swimming and kayaking. Sunsets were beautiful along with the foliage and Northern Lights using our phone cameras. Eva was very accomodating!"
