"We paid for an early check in and a bucket of craft beer in our room. Both of which was granted and was great. The staff however, we not very friendly and not very helpful. They didn't explain the amenities, or tell us where they were on property, or what time they closed. We were given papers and told to check online if we needed any more information. This was not helpful. The property is beautiful but everything was rather expensive. I was expecting more for the amount that we paid. I would...

"After a nightmarish travel day in which our flight was cancelled and we had to have an overnight layover, the hotel was gracious enough to save our room, and were extremely helpful in making us comfortable. This was especially helpful because we both ended up sick while there, and needed to have a nice place to recover. The room was quiet, the staff was terrific, the amenities were awesome and the location couldn't be better. It's right across the street from the bus and rail station."

This place offers coffee and tea all day and night, as well as a space where to do work if you need it (separate from your room), and its own parking. "We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip!
