"This inn was the best lodging during our 7 day trip to Cape Breton and Nova Scotia. After a long day of driving and hiking on the Cabot Trail, we were greeted warmly by the desk clerk who went out of her way to help us find a restaurant. "Quirky proprietress, especially at check-in, but after that lovely. The rooms were beautiful and were made up every day of our four-night stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the proprietress prepared it with care and flexibility for different dietary needs. Dog and cat co-hosts were adorable. "This was the first experience we ever had with a Vrbo or similar style of stay. We usually only stay in Hotels however if we are able to stay in places like this again then we will likely only stay here. This property was exactly as advertised and so clean!
