"Brand new and very clean. European mattresses must just be not that comfortable, because these were supposedly new but still not very good. The showers spread water everywhere and make the bathroom slippery and unsafe. We were moved from our first room to another room with a slightly better shower enclosure, but still not great. Hosts are not on-site, which made things a little difficult. They are responsive to phone calls - but you need an international phone plan to call them and I had to...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Marias Platzl. The whole staff was always super friendly and attentive. The food and breakfast were delicious and felt very traditional, which we really liked. The location is also nice. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again."
