Very dated hotel that was expensive for the lack of a maintenance and only 1 bed. Leaky toilet all over the bathroom floor and the water ran all night. We would not recommend this establishment nor would we stay there again.

Old fashioned hotel, clean, conveniently located near major attractions. Microwave/ refrigerator in room, very helpful since the area does not have good number of decent restaurants. Pilot knob is a little rural area with breathtaking views.

Came in for a short family trip. Room was clean but AC is not able to keep up with cooling room and room smells a lot like a musty basement.

My friends and I really enjoyed our two night stay. Our only complaint was we wished there was more than one trash can in the room. The pool area was very well kept and had a great aesthetic. The staff was very friendly.

A hidden jem in the Ozarks
The staff was friendly; the pool was clean and refreshing! The rooms were clean and the surrounding activities were exceptional (great hiking, history, and water activities)!

It’s pilot knob…
It’s Pilot Knob, so you don’t expect too much. The room was ok, but the A/c has a hard time keeping the whole room cool. The staff was nice and they are trying to keep the place as nice as they can. Biggest complaint was the pillows were hard as a rock.

The host and hostess were so friendly and helpful. While the rooms are a bit dated, they are CLEAN and NEAT! There was plenty of room for our family in the family suite. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were clean. It was close to Johnson’s Shut-Ins and Elephant Rock State Park. I would stay there with my family again!

Loved the property and the owners. We have stayed there before. Really close to Elephant Rock and Johnson Shut Ins. Beautiful area.

Everything Nice and Clean
We were there only one night but everything was really nice an clean as far as we could see and trust me I checked. LOL… It was your typical motel room. They had a lot of channels on the tv too which was nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable Small Town Motel
To start, the staff at the desk was amazing. Unbelievably polite, helpful, smiles never left their faces. They were very welcoming. As others have stated, it is a bit dated, but considering we are talking about a very small town motel, we were very pleased. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, not much else I could ask for. Super close to Elephant rocks and quite a few other visits. The only negatives I could give it was the wifi is pretty bad, but coming from 4 days in the Shawnee forest, it was something. And do yourselves a favor if you're in the area, the folks at the front desk recommended the Town and County store down the street for breakfast. Get yourself some biscuits and gravy.

Nice hotel with friendly staff.
The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful with dining suggestions in the area. The room was comfortable and clean, except for the ceiling in the bathroom. There was a discoloration over the shower that may have been water damage or mold. The tub and the rest of the bathroom were extremely clean. We would stay here again.

This is an older hotel but very well kept up. It was cozy and clean. We would stay again, in fact it would be our first pick. We like the location very much, right across the street from the Fort and museum and park.

The Hotel was in a very good location for what we needed. It was clean and at check in the managers were friendly. Only negative we had was they ran our card before we were expecting them to (we usually pay cash) and the Hotel itself was a little outdated. Also the little fridge and microwave combo didn’t work. We didn’t discover this till checkout day when we went to re-heat leftovers.

It’s a small and very nice and clean hotel. There is a restaurant next to it and they serve truly amazing food! The service at the hotel was amazing! There is a small pool that is really nice and clean. The hotel is located very close to many different hikes. I will be back there for sure!

Amazing staff at the hotel, super welcoming. We were there for a MTB race and they even setup a bike wash station for us racers. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Elephant rocks is just 5 minutes away! Everyone was super friendly here and place was even better than expected! recommended especially if your going to the state parks theres a ton near!

It was quiet, bed okay, but not best for side sleeping. The air conditioner was in sitting area not bedroom. There was a dirty makeup stained towel still on back of bathroom door, and behind low dresser in bedroom was an old lost pillow case and some packs of medication. The fridge was not very cold. Convenient location to state parks in the area.
