"Lovely cozy cabin it was perfect size for me, my husband and our 2 dogs. Owners are very helpful if you have a problem or a question they responded asap. They don't live onsite but their very friendly caretaker stays in the house nearby with his two super sweet happy to greet you dogs. Cabins are super clean and well furnished love the new futon super comfy really enjoyed relaxing and unwinding at end of night. Perfect location to visit many waterfalls, state parks, and lakes within 2 hours in...

"The owner were very friendly and helpful. Our cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful view of the lake along with a boat ramp to launch our boat. Caught a nice batch of blue gills. We had free access to dockage, kayaks and sauna. Even a nice fire pit and beach to enjoy. One of our best vaca’s yet! We will definitely come back!"

"We had a wonderful time up at this Lac Vieux Desert cabin. Beautifully upgraded, very clean, great layout. While the driveway down to the lake is very steep, the heights of the cabin give great views of the lake. We loved sitting out on the deck and and enjoyed sunsets out on the dock -- even caught several fish right off the dock! We definitely hope to return!"

"Great location, very remote. I do like the idea of "offgrid" However wifi would have been better. Life runs on internet and no signal to even make a call. With wifi at least family could get a hold of you in an emergency."

"The location is a perfect distance tucked back in the woods, but also just 15 min away from town. The cabin was cozy and just right for 2 adults. The ceiling in the loft is a bit low and the staircase is pretty narrow, so smaller people would be more comfortable. The wood burning stove to heat the house was a bit of a challenge to get going, but once we did, it made the cabin nice and toasty! We found that when the wood burning stove got going, we literally had hundreds of flies in the loft...

"Very clean and supplied with everything you need, including washer and dryer. We were able to rent a pontoon from the owner which was very convenient. I don’t know what more we could have asked for. We loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks eating from the bird feeder on the deck."
