"We had a very quiet, peaceful two nights at River Retreat. Thoroughly labeled kitchen (and beyond) was well stocked for morning coffees on the beautiful deck overlooking the backyard and river. The beds were comfortable (a rarity) and the space was perfect for four adults. We enjoyed the gentle freeze and sound of the river, so close to town yet private and quiet. Dellene was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs."

"This little house was perfect for our family to use while visiting family in the Simpsonville area. My son (3) called it our “adventure” house. While we didn’t use them, I appreciated the washer/dryer capabilities. There were plenty of linens provided and the space and rooms were comfortable. Overall, a great place and just what we needed!"

"This was our second stay at this home, though last time we were on the other side of the duplex. It is comfortable and had everything we needed for a visit with our son's family nearby. Good communication with the owner re: an issue with the washer which we did not need anyway but it was nice of him to let us know. An awning or some sort of covered entrance over the front door would be nice - we got soaked when a storm came through while we were unloading. It also needs more than one mirror so...

"I can not begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the "Hickory Cottage". It was beautifully decorated with all the essential needs. Brand new might I add. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great safe neighborhood. Out of town and in the woods but close to everything. Check in & out was easy. Don't miss a nap outside on the swings and enjoy time on the screened in deck.
