Welcome to the Indianola Cedar House! With 1600 square feet of space and two living rooms, this is not your average 2-Bedroom rental property. Brand new in fall 2024, it's a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Thoughtfully designed with love and care, the home blends modern comfort and natural beauty. It also has a location that is within easy walking distance of the waterfront, country store, and pier, making it perfect for short visits as well as lengthier stays.
The Property: The Indianola Cedar House features 16-foot vaulted ceilings and a stunning wall of windows that fills the space with natural light and frames tranquil views of the surrounding trees. The minimalist design is cozy and inviting, with comfortable, new furniture and a spacious feel. Each bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed, comfortable bedding, promising a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms bring a touch of luxury, featuring Italian tile, designer mirrors, and heated floors – perfect for a spa-like experience at the end of the day.
The main level includes the first of two living rooms, the kitchen, dining room, a large bedroom suite, a laundry room, and deck with outdoor furniture. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and the wrap-around cedar deck offers a lovely space to sip morning coffee, relax with a book, or enjoy evening drinks surrounded by nature. Bedroom 1 is on the main level. It is a large room that includes a Queen size bed, walk in closet, and direct access to the full bathroom. Upstairs, a charming loft overlooks the living area below, while serving as a quiet nook for reading or working. Up here, you'll find the second of two living rooms, as well as the second bedroom and bathroom. The upper living room includes a sleeper sofa as well as a smart HDTV.
Location: Just a few minutes from Indianola's golf course, beach and country store, the house is ideally situated for exploring the immediate area, as well as nearby towns of Kingston, Poulsbo, and Bainbridge Island. With a quick 10-minute drive to the Kingston ferry, Edmonds and downtown Seattle are also within easy reach. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to Hood Canal and its hiking, beachcombing, and water activities.
Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking: Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have. Accessing this property is easy since it requires only 3 stairs. Parking is available for up to 3 cars, or perhaps a larger vehicle with a boat trailer. Please reach out to us prior to booking, if you have a trailer, so we can confirm that it will fit in the parking area.

Please advise us when or before booking if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates. ** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required. ** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, may exist on the exterior of the property. When present, cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. Please let us know if you have any concerns. ** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals. Long Term Rentals must be discussed and approved prior to booking online. A long term rental / lease agreement may be required. A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, and mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. We enjoyed our stay at the Indianola Cedar House. The house is beautiful, beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We had our two adult sons staying with us and there was plenty of room for all of us. We will defiantly be back to stay as it is such a beautiful place in a gorgeous location!!! Thank you!

Spring Break
We had a lovely time staying in this beautiful home. The location is walking distance from the cute Country Store and to the shore and very long pier. The house is bright and very light inside with vaulted ceilings and sky lights. Plenty of space to park a couple of cars and the two bedrooms are very comfortable. We love this home and hope you and your family can enjoy it as well!

Had to do some work nearby and chose this house. Very verdant and woody. Had a chance to explore the area and is very quaint. Appreciated the cleanliness of the property (very important to my wife). Probably the cleanest of any VRBO that I’ve stayed at. Area is very quiet & peaceful after a day of work. Kitchen was well stocked and while we didn’t do much cooking was very good. Met the owner/neighbor next door and was very nice. They have two friendly dogs and a pretty garden. One suggestion for the future would probably be to install a small tv in the dining area to watch news in the AM. Would definitely stay here again the next time I have to work in the area. We had a wonderful time at the Indianola Guest House! It was perfect for our sister getaway. The check in (and check out) was very easy. The home is full of light, beautifully decorated, and has any amenity you might need. The full kitchen and upstairs TV room were great for cooking meals and relaxing. On the sunny days, we headed down to the beach to walk and check out the tide pools. A walk down the long Indianola pier is a must, along with a spin through the Indianola Country Store (their homemade pizza is delicious!). On the rainy days we spent most of our time sitting around the big dining table eating, drinking, and playing games. It was a lovely property that perfectly fit our needs. We had a great time and will be back!

Indianola Cedar House
The owner was very good. Personable and helpful. The property in magnificant. A close walk to the beach. Close to townn ad community. Warm and cozy at night. Good openn fronnt for outside dining. The amennities were very good - all nnew applicances = washer - dryer - great kitchen - great stove and ovenn - new frigirator / freezer - all cooking untinsels very good - dishes annd plates were fanntastic - beds were superb. We will definately stay here again if possible and we will recommend it without reserve to any and all potenntial customers.

Beautiful, Clean, Brand new, Quiet
This property is amazing. Priced well and I hope excellent reviews don’t cause the price to increase. Great and quiet location. 5 min walk from a quiet and secluded beach with a small corner store to purchase items. Property is next door to the owners who are very friendly. Property manager communicates regularly to make sure your stay is going well. They respond immediately if you have a concern/issue. Property is well furnished, however I would recommend placing a dresser in each bedroom for ease of guests storage of clothing. Kitchen has EVERYTHING you need. A grill would be nice out back. I wish I knew beforehand how to operate the microwave and the vent on the stove (please inform future guests of these items). Trash cans inside are separate for trash and recycle however there is only a trash can outside. This is literally a brand new fully furnished home. The amenities are abundant. I can’t think of anything that was missing (other than a grill, dresser, and recycle bin). I would love to stay here again and I give this property my highest recommendation.
