"What I didn’t like: - This property is going through some kind of transition from a short term rental to a hotel? As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. "Beautiful waterfront property. There are houses all around but most of the time we had the beach to ourselves. The kayaks were a big plus! There are 2 youth and 3 adult kayaks (one takes in water, so really 2 adult kayaks). Portable a/c in the living area was a lifesaver. It doesn't cool the whole cabin in warm weather, though. There are only 2 very old box fans, so if you're local and able to bring some good fans I'd recommend it. The back bedroom in particular got very hot. No dining table,...

"We had great time at this place the beach area is accessible and private. My grandkids learned quickly how to use the kayaks and could paddle all around- thanks for providing those and the life jackets. No complaints about bed every one thought they were comfortable. Any questions were quickly resolved and last night the power went out and they had stocked for that. The house is very roomy and there were 10 of us. Would stay there again in the future."

"I was a bit skeptical about all the perfect reviews at first as I’ve traveled for work and stayed at many properties. This one actually exceeded my expectations. Perfectly appointed, convenient and so comfy!The grounds outside are park like and super secluded and serene. Perfect patio for morning coffee, or a night cap before curling up in the spacious king size bed. The sheets and pillows were all so fresh with no harmful chemical smells. Loved the shower and lighting in the bathroom too....

"First the manager was extremely accommodating and easy to get a hold of. The place is very well kept and there was a great kitchen stocked with food and spices, didn't need to buy butter or eggs. Used the grill on two nights for meals that were purchased at the local grocery (really nice place) which was 5 minutes walking distance from the property. We walked to get coffee every morning and the ferry to Seattle was just a 5 minute walk as well. Thank you for a great stay! "

"Beautiful, clean space, with gorgeous views right on the sound. Wonderful deck and kayaks. Perfect getaway mix of relaxing looking at boats, sea life, and mountains. and active pursuits of walking on the beach, taking the steps, and kayaking. Close to town with grocery stores and ferry dock. We learned to watch the tide calendar. Great spot for our family of 6."

"One day sat on the patio overlooking the water for about four hours. Doing nothing in particular. The owners and some of his people were delightful to chat with. They run a boat charter as well as the STR. They had lots of toys to play with if you wanted to go kayaking or things like that. Only comment I made to Randy was he needed fluffy pillows!!! And yes, I’m a snob. "
