When we checked into the VRBO the room looked like it had been ransacked. I called the help line and they told me that that room was painted the day before and that was why it was not ready. I didn't understand why they didn't inform us before we got there. While trying to find us another room they seemed more concerned about us returning the key to that room before they would submit another one to us. The little kiosk thing kept malfunctioning and we had issues. We finally got the key returned via the kiosk but then they had trouble getting us a key. When I finally got a key they could not tell me which room it belonged to, I believe we talked to 2 different people trying to figure it out. They were even trying to find the housekeeper. By the time it took for us to get another room was over an hour and a half and very frustrating. Then on top of that we had no idea that we had to pay for parking the whole time via a meter. It would have been nice to know that up front. I got my days mixed up and ended up getting a 20 ticket I had 5 days to pay. One gentleman on the phone was very helpful and said he would look into this and see if we could have been compensated for something and he would personally get back to me, but he never did. Our vacation should have started as soon as we got to the establishment but we didn't start enjoying our trip until the next day after having such a stressful night. The place was very clean and that's all I can say about it.
