"Reception staff are absolutely fantastic. Facilities were fine, location is walkable to Anjuna, and even Baga beach if you fancy a stroll. However Wi-Fi in rooms very intermittent and the duvets should have washable covers for hygiene. Bar was not open but eatery and beer shop right next to the hostel. Not the hippy part of Anjuna, you need to go towards the German Bakery if you want that type of vibe. More Indian holiday makers than international travellers. But I did have a very enjoyable...

"There is clearly a breakdown in communication between Hotels.com/Experia and the Hotel, because on the website it states a free airport shuttle service is offered, but when calling ahead to book I established that wasn't the case under my particular booking. Furthermore, even my confirmation stated I should receive free wifi and free breakfast, but I had to pay for breakfast and the wifi wasn't working. "Each time am in Mumbai am staying for a few days in Mantra Hostel and the moment am reaching it after the long journey I have the feeling of being "back home". The staff are excellent: kind, helpful, patient. Rooms are very clean as well as beds and bathrooms. The very location is cool as well, offering a quick access to the airport, train stations or long distance bus stops. Also, the travellers who choose Mantra are mostly very friendly, inspiring and energetic, it is easy to make friends here...

"Nice, calm and quiet place, with great area around, for chillig and relaxing. Also has inside nice places to sit and rest, great view. Staff is very welcome, one of the best places to stay in North Goa, definitely recomend this place for solo tourists! "
