Off Grid Mountain Retreat w/ Amazing Views

  • The Crows nest an updated, off-grid, modern cabin, with amazing views in the mountains of Colorado.
    Come check out the views, wildlife, go skiing, hiking, biking or head down to town. Idaho Springs is just 40 minutes out of Denver. This gets you much closer to everything the mountains have to offer without dealing with traffic of the city.

    We are in a stage 2 fire restrictions.

    No BBQ's or outdoor fires are allowed at this time. Sorry we can no longer provide these amenities.

We thought the place was amazing. It was in a beautiful location with incredible views of the mountains. Everything was as stated, and meet all expectations. We will hope to come back in that fall.

Be prepared for beautiful sun rises and sunsets looking at awesome views from this mount top. the weather changes thoughout the day, so you will need a mix of clothes. lots of close by shops and stores if you forget anything, but you may not need much because this property very clean. well equipped with so many necessities and extras, and your host is awesome. oh, you will benefit from 4wd to get up the hill.

Everything was perfect. The view and surrounding area was breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms and beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. Highly recommend

Absolutely gorgeous

The stay was fantastic 😊 we loved it. The house was perfect there are no complaints other than we couldn't stay longer. This is definitely the place to stay if you want a view and peace and quiet. It's not too far away from town and you can get to Denver super easy.easy

Best ever!

Came for a weekend trip with adult family and we unanimously agreed this was our favorite rental we’ve ever experienced. Everything was amazing and such easy check in/out. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, house is updated and beautiful, views are out of this world. We loved every minute of it and will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay. Andrew is by far one of the best hosts that I've had. He was very communicative and accommodating. The house is beautiful with amazing views. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This home is literally the best! From the wildlife, nights at the fire pit, comfy beds, to star gazing!! We enjoyed our time here immensely! We will definitely be staying here again! Hopefully soon!!

Amazing

The home is beautiful with an incredible view. It was so peaceful, and we loved our time there. Everything was immaculate, and the owners provided everything we needed and more (there were even beautiful fresh flowers on the dining table). Our kids had so much fun exploring and watching the hummingbirds and squirrels playing. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Great Mountain Views

We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely be coming back. The location is just right- it feels remote but is only about 45 minutes from Denver. Great mountain views from the patio and also from pretty much every room in the house. The house is beautiful, too. Modern and very roomy with lots of big windows. Overall it was exactly the mountain getaway we were looking for.

This property had beautiful views! We did our elopement ceremony at the house! It was beautiful! We didn’t realize how far up into the mountains it was, but we enjoyed our stay! Would stay again, next time we will bring friends! ❤️

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

This property is amazing. It had everything you could need for a mountain vacation. Andrew was awesome to work with and we would stay here again. Location is close to Idaho Springs and a short drive from Denver. All the activities we wanted to do were a short drive. The views from the house were beautiful. We are now tempted to move there.

Amazing Stay

Absolutely gorgeous property if you’re looking for something secluded and quaint. All of the amenities you could need for a reunion with friends. Access to the mountains, trails, town, casino, all while being 1hr away from Denver International. You know it’s good when you simply enjoy the ride up the driveway. 10/10 would recommend

Peaceful getaway close to plenty!

This property is absolutely beautiful and the view is breathtaking! We were looking for a place that was secluded and quiet but close enough to the places we wanted to experience, and this place delivered! Andrew was very communicative and responsive, and we had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay! We highly recommend this property!! Perfect Getaway

Beautiful place and location. Perfect for all our needs. Owner is super nice and helpful. Don’t forget to ask for where the moose was last. Also, 3 different dogs came to the property but they were all super friendly. Just looking for attention and treats!

Andrew’s home was the perfect getaway from our busy life. The views are spectacular. The quiet nights and wildlife brought such happiness to our family. The amenities are on point and it was proof that solar living is feasible. It got my kids thinking about how they use power at home. Unpaved road to property. Off grid seclusion For this that want to feel closer to nature and enjoy the simplistic beauty of the Rockies, this is it.
