"It was beautiful and relaxing. A little sketchy on the roads when snowing for some Texans like us, but it was well managed. Shot trip to the casinos but what we really loved was the town 30 minutes away the owners recommended with great restaurants and breweries. If you’re looking for a mountain getaway, this is a great one!"

"When we arrived it looked like it had been vacant for some time. The yard and sidewalk were full of weeds that were well over a foot tall. Then, when we went inside the AC had not been running so it was very warm inside. (It was July and was in the 90s at this time.) We immediately turned on the AC and all the fans. In less than an hour the breaker tripped and the AC went out. My husband fixed it and the AC came on again. I did let the host know. We left for dinner and when we came back the AC...

The small issue was the challenge of getting enough hot water and pressure to use the wonderful-looking master shower. But mountain water pressure is often an issue. Overall a wonderful house for a weekend away. "
