"Staff was very friendly, super quiet hotel with air conditioning. Very clean."

"Clean and comfortable with very good food and a warm welcome from the owner. Plenty of on site parking."

"The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. "Had a mews room on ground floor. Lovely to just step outside for coffee"

"Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds."

"Staff are very helpful and create a pleasant friendly environment, good standards of cleanliness throughout. Lovely big breakfast served by staff member attentive to customer needs."

In the end I had to call the hotel to find out how to check out and was told to just leave the key in the room and go. This wasn't really an issue for us, but it would have been better to be told of...

"Clean spacious room, very comfortable bed"

"Nice rooms with fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water provided. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast for the price. Solid mid-range option for the area."

"Due to a VRBO double booking, this was a last-minute booking @ around 6:30pm. They welcomed us in with open arms and made the stay most enjoyable. Glad we got double-booked!"

"El hotel está súper bonito, súper buena ubicación, solo que nos tocó un cuarto sin aire, nos prestaron un ventilador pero teníamos que dormir con la ventana abierta, mucho ruido afuera, el personal del restaurante y del bar muy bien, pero de recepción no fue el mejor! Los cuartos están muy bonitos!"

"This is a fantastic hotel that I would recommend to all."

"Lovely room, great breakfast and friendly, helpful owners."
