Unfortunately we only stayed one night, and did not want to leave, the house is amazing so old in places full of history and character lovely gardens, just when you think that’s enough there is a games room! Great choice of breakfast just felt so welcome, relaxing in fact we found it magical !

The bathroom had mold which had me sneezing. Historic doesn't have to mean unkept. Friendly enough but quality not quite there

Lovely 14th century building, still as 14th century building. Breakfast great. Flexible. Tea n coffee as required. Homely and full of character. Owners were always available and helpful. Adequate parking for us. Short drive to lavenham and lavenham theatre. Ideally situated.

I liked the house, which is genuinely historic and full of character, and the garden areas with colourful plants and shrubs, a pond, a water feature, and plenty of places to sit. Terry and Lynne were welcoming and friendly, generous with their time and made me and my friends feel instantly at home. Terry cooked a very good English breakfast, and it was nice to meet other guests as we all sat round the same table for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and there was a good fan to keep the room cool in the heatwave.

The place was amazing. Two very nice, peaceful gardens, even though one was by a busy road. Part of the house dated back from, I think, pre 1066. Not 100% sure on that. But it was very old. The owner was very helpful with just about everything! Loads to look at in the place. Very higgledy piggeldy!. I loved it and would definitely stay again. 5 stars from me.

Very old property, run by two lovely people, cleanliness a bit to be desired due to the above reasons, they have too much to do maintaining the house and dealing with guests Proprietors very friendly and helpful... breakfast was okay with cereal coffee and cooked available. Parking was available for about 3 or 4 cars

The hosts treat you like family. I dat infront of the fire sipping homemade wine. An absolute gem of a place. Definitely stay there again. The history of the house is incredible and it is unusual and not the normal guest house. However that is why ypu choose there because it is different
