"The indoor spa was great. Staff were awesome as well - really professional. Can imagine it's great when the outdoor spa is open and during the summer. Some of the negatives...breakfast could do with some improvements, the ingredients tasted low quality some of the cooking was questionable (fried eggs for example). The place had a general feel of getting refurbished so felt hard done by paying full price... Our room (28) smelt like drains and the view was blocked by scaffolding. Also some mold...

"Lovely hotel and staff, pool very nice. Room disappointing. Building works going on throughout the hotel which wasn’t made clear at booking. We were in a ‘family room’ which was essentially a meeting room converted on the ground floor. The only radiator in such a large room was around half a meter from my head when in bed, the chosen location very uncomfortable and I therefore did not sleep well at all. "Food at the Inn arrived incorrectly, and tasteless. It was removed from the bill. When we entered our room the toilet seat almost fell off when moved. The heater in the room was broken. We used the hotel pool facility. The changing rooms were dirty. Dirty nappies in the swimsuit dryer. Sauna out of order. Broken drains on the jacuzzi.
