  • Come relax at the Paddle Inn on all sports Thompson Lake. Connected to the lake by backyard canal. Neighborhood swans routinely swim by and nest in the yard. Fishing is great, kayaks available. New Blackstone grill out back. Relax and enjoy Lake Thompson, while still being close to downtown Howell.

    Close to vibrant restaurants and cafes in downtown Howell, well known for festivals, food trucks, Sunday farmers market, Tanger Outlet Mall. Parks, trails & skiing nearby, including Scofield Park. Community events and festivals in town are year round. This area always has something fun to do!

Cleanest House I've ever rented. My girl friends and I stayed for 3 nights Mid June for our annual girls trip and loved our accommodations. From the easy entry, to the clean and crisp house throughout, to our quiet canal view, our stay was excellent. Everything seemed brand new and never used. We would stay again! Thank you!!

Wonderful property - beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture, and spaces, great location! Host was easy to communicate with and made the check-in and checkout processes easy. Would recommend to others wanting to stay in the area.

Great stay

What a great place! Anything that we needed was there! It was a quiet place, comfortable beds and just cozy. Would definitely stay again!

This house was spotless! There were 4 of us staying for the weekend and this was the perfect spot for us. The house had everything we needed, plenty of linens and towels and the kitchen had dishes for our take out. (we didn't cook). There were kayaks and life vests provided but we didn't use them. Everything inside the house was so clean, which we appreciated so much.

Family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Melinda made everything so easy - the house was perfect for our extended family (3 adults, 3 teens). We would definitely return to this home on a future trip to Howell.

We absolutely love everything this house has to offer. This is our second year staying here for a ladies weekend and we just can’t say enough about how cozy and welcoming everything is. Melinda is very responsive. We couldn’t be happier!

Michigan Graduation

We stayed here because Ann Arbor was booked a year in advance. The drive to and fro was easy. And Howell is a delightful town in and of itself. House was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay.

We spent 3 weeks at the RIZZ. We had a very nice stay. The house was very kid friendly and had toys for little ones. All of the mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen came fully stocked and there were plenty of towels and wash clothes. The owners were quick to respond with the few questions I had. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of Thompson Lake. I would stay here again.

Perfect Location for Ann Arbor

Stayed here for a game at the University of Michigan. Perfect location away from all the chaos; beautiful, idyllic location with the lake and relaxed feel. Fantastic house, fantastic host, will stay again if I'm back in the area.

My friends and I had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful, the lake access was great and proximity to downtown was also extremely convenient. Highly recommend.
