Megan was a great host and the process was very simple from booking to arrival. Megan checked on us after arrival and was quick to respond when I had a question. The property was better than expected and every room was setup for 7 adults or 4 couples. The only thing different from the photos is there is no access to the top deck of the pool house. That makes sense to me for safety reasons. The close proximity to Mohican and Mount Vernon trails was amazing. Lots to do or nice to stay at the property for family relaxation. Our family travels quite often to stay at large properties. We all agreed that the Main floor was the greatest place that we had ever seen. Massive front room with fireplace as well as a large functional kitchen. The lake is deep and fishing off the dock was amazing. We stayed in October and usually fishing isn’t very good. I lost a pole do to me wanting to stay warm by the fire pit. Large catfish and lots of bluegill swimming at the bottom which was weird to me. At least I knew what the catfish were eating. The lights at the boat dock made it very easy to see. I think Megan will put some solar lights by the long stairs to the water to make it easier to see at night. We walked up on the grass which really made it safer. Overall, this property was a Gem and we will definitely come back again next year.
